Yellowstone Tours – Don’t Forget to Bring Your Laundry

Imagine their surprise when the explorers from the first expedition to Yellowstone National Park were faced with a sudden burst of sparkling water shooting from the ground 125 feet into the air. That was their first-ever geyser sighting, nearly 150 years ago, and they watched it happen over and over again during the day. They called the geyser Old Faithful.

But Old Faithful isn’t just one of the most beautiful and amazing sites in the world—it’s also one of the most unique laundromats in the world. That’s right, folks. I said laundromat.

Twelve years after Old Faithful’s first expedition, soldiers discovered that if you place your cotton and linen clothing into the geyser while it’s dormant, it will shoot your clothes out thoroughly cleaned when it erupts. Now all you have to do is find a dryer. Better still, leave them on the rocks where they landed to dry in the sun.

Yellowstone tours always include Old Faithful, and Old Faithful never fails to perform on a regular schedule—hence the name. There’s no way you can miss it.

Of course, Old Faithful isn’t the only Yellowstone tours attraction. There’s also Mammoth Hot Springs, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone—and a lot more. You can also incorporate other sights into a specially-designed longer tour that includes Mt. Rushmore, the Grand Tetons, and even Las Vegas (for a real change in pace!).

Yellowstone is one of the most eventful but relaxing vacations ever. Don’t forget to bring your laundry!
