Even though I have way too many pairs already, I'd probably spend most of it on shoes! Then I would surprise my husband with some new shirts (I'm a shoe person; he loves shirts). If there was anything left over, I'd go for a new purse. Can a girl have too many? I think not!

I would splurge on a gorgeous, black and cream colored houndstooth checked mid length classic wool winter coat. I have seen a few in vogue and instyle recently that have made my jaw drop, sort of trench coat styled with a belt, and I dream of owning this style and pattern (fabric) coat. I haven't purchased a new coat for myself in years, since we started having children I think, and I would love to treat myself to not only a new coat, but a chic and glamorous one too! I can see myself wearing this mid length houndstooth coat with not only my dressier clothes, but also with a pair of designer jeans and boots, very euro chic! Oh I adore TJ Maxx and the fact that I just finished my grad school applications means that I need to restock my wardrobe with school appropriate clothes and TJ Maxx is of course my first choice of store to visit since I need more bang for my buck! Instead of buying new coats or sweaters, I have bought a few nice scarves in different colors. I put one on every day, even if I am just going to the grocery store or driving in the carpool. It gives my wardrobe a little kick, and I did not have to spend a lot. The other thing I have "indulged" in is I bought two pairs of soft, thick fuzzy slipper socks. I wear them while making breakfast and put them on with my jammies before going to bed. Again, not spending a lot, but getting comfort.

I really just want some new tops, I do buy some new ones every year, but lately have been feeling like I want all new ones. Last year I seemed to have been in a hoodie phase, and now I don't feel like wearing those as much but everything else just feels old, so I only get a couple days of new tops and then feel icky the rest of the time,
My DREAM item(s) for myself for Fall would have to be A GOOD Casmere cardigan - one of those longer, open-fronted ones AND a pr of Uggs (ANY KIND of Uggs!!!) Since I were scrubs most of the time, my off days are more casual now :)

I am DYING for a new long or 3/4 length trench coat! I bought my first real coat with the first real Christmas bonus I got in my twenties. It was a 3/4 length camel jacket and I still love it and wear it every winter. it has stayed in fashion and can be worn casual or dressy. BUT - it is TIME for a new coat and I have my eye on the new trenches. I am a stay at home mom who doesn't get Christmas bonus checks any more - help a girl out!

Cashmere sweaters! I love cashmere and still berate myself for not buying a gorgeous, black wrap on sale years ago. But, it was the year that I was getting married, and thought I had better wait (and wait, and wait and wait to find another!) However, I did buy an amazing Cynthia Rowley heather brown cashmere cardigan with a faux (and detachable) fur collar at TJ Maxx yesterday. I'm trying to decide whether or not to keep it!

Target had this great pair of boots advertised in their Sunday circular about a month ago. It took me a few days to get in there and by the time I did, my size was gone! I've tried online, even travelling to other nearby cities trying to find these boots! I absolutely fell in love with them, planning outfits around them. They were a fabulous price at only $50 and had received rave reviews for comfort and style. Since then, I have been poring over sites online, searching for something similar. The closest that I have found is the Frye Harness Boot. Unfortunately, they are just over $200, something I don't feel justified paying. Oh, if I only had a few hundred bucks to splurge!

Well, as long as we're dreaming here, I would (maybe) kill for the new Sergio Rossi over-the-knee, 4" heel, black suede boots. Oh, yes. Come to, Mama. And at a mere $1,495, wrap them up! You can wear them with any length skirt, over jeans, over leggings... Who cares if they look best on 5' 11" legs-for-ever, 20-year-old models and I'm, well... shorter and (ahem) older. Would probably spend a fair portion of it on my granddaughter who is 10. She is outgrowing clothes so fast at her age that the ones we bought (at TJ Maxx by the way) in August are already at the stretching point then with the rest I would treat myself to a nice bag and some accessories of which one can never have too many because with accessories you can turn a ten outfit wardrobe into a 50 outfit wardrobe, that is my take and where better to find lots of lucious accessories than at TJ Maxx.

Then add all the matching accessories of wallet, eye glass case and small case for all those things that end up in the bottom of my bag. I would love to go to the Gucci web store and buy all of their scarves that I wanted, both silk scarves to accessorize with and wool neck scarves to be warm and fashionable with. I am 74 and scarves were always a must-have accessory when I was a girl and I still love them.
I would love a pair of over the knee leather boots. Doubt I will get them since they aren't in the budget. I will be looking at TJ Maxx though since they have such great deals. You never know!
Hiking boots, socks and jacket. Gus (std. poodle) and I love to hike with our hiking club in WV.
Last year I "scored" a great buy on a RED cashmere coat. It is beautiful and I love it, but couldn't afford to accessorize with a "Burberry" or similar cashere scarf. And, because I have lost weight and might actually look pretty fashionable for a change, a pair of leather boots - I am a gray haired "older" woman, so nothing really funky, just comfortable and pretty.

I just indulged in a pair of Fiorentini & Baker boots, so expensive but so lovely. So, I already have those. And I am 7 months pregnant so I wouldn't say jeans either, as my Citizens maternity jeans fit the bill perfectly and will hopefully last through the next two months. Two dream items come to mind, then. A Vince cashmere cardigan, and a Gerard Darel 24 Heures handbag. Ooooh lala. Hmm, and maybe a trench coat.

I love scarves. All colors. When it gets chilly outside, nothing more comforting than a warm winter scarf. Also, a colorful scarf jazzes up an outfit or blazer to cheer me up during the gray dreary days. Even though I have quite a few scarves, I still like to buy more when I see a great color or pattern I just can't resist.
