The sleek, pulled-back look that accompanied Posh’s ready-to-wear collection was modern and chic without being severe. “I need to break the clean, sleek lines in the front to modernize the look, so I created a rough matte texture in the back,” Guido said. “The key is to make it look effortless, which I did by using two distinct textures in one look.”

Guido started with dry hair, and combed back a four-inch section from the front, generously applying Hardwear 16 Super Strength Sculpting Gel. He clipped the section out of the way and applied Guts 10 Root Targeted Volume Spray Foam throughout the rest of the hair. Guido clipped the front section back with a metal barrette and then applied Glass 01 Smoothing Serum for a clean, shiny finish. Once the hair was dried, he added Forceful 23 Super Strength Finishing Spray to add extra texture to the bottom.

At Marc by Marc Jacobs, Guido created a fun twisty updo for long hair that’s low-maintenance and easy. “This look started as a ponytail and we reinvented it,” he said.

To get the look, blow-dry hair using Satinwear 02 Ultimate Blow-Dry Lotion, and pull hair back into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic. Flip the ponytail forward, and use a barrette or clip to fasten the hair about two inches above the elastic.

Then flip the pony back down and clip again about two inches below the elastic to create the bump. Finish the style with Forceful 23 Super Strength Finishing Spray.

While hair is damp, distribute Satinwear 02 Ultimate Blow-Dry Lotion throughout and let dry. Create a messy center part and put on the choker, turtleneck, or jacket to “bob” the hair at the neck.

“This is a natural look that a girl could very easily achieve herself,” Guido said. “It’s got that ‘just out of the shower’ feel to it, and I think it’s very chic to have a wet hair look when fully dressed in amazing clothes, like Alexander Wang.”

To do it yourself, divide damp hair into sections and apply Full Frame 07 Protective Volumizing Mousse from roots to ends. Make a messy center part and use a blow dryer and your fingers to roughly dry.

To create the high-gloss shine, apply All Soft Argan-6 Multi-Care Oil, which can be used on wet or dry hair as a blow-drying shield, a shine-enhancer, a post-blowout smoother, or even an overnight conditioning treatment.
