Don’t Bomb When Going Blonde

A: Each of these methods can get good results. The first thing to choose is a great colorist. That being said, here are my impressions. In general, foil gives you wider streaks. Baliage gives less geometric results. It’s very natural looking because they simply paint the surface of the head, where the sun would hit. I’m not so familiar with the weaving/plastic wrap procedure.

I love Gwen Stefani's hair but luckily have the sense to know that I'm not high maintenance enough to maintain it (or plaster my face with enough makeup to make it look good!) I've seen several women of late with this bleached look and one friend told me that once she went blonde, she felt she couldn't go back. And so has gotten more and more blonde with every coloring. The tip to find a great colorist is great, but it'd be great to have some tips on choosing a colorist too!
