If you can’t get Rob Pattinson to touch you, you can at least get the Twilight colorist to give you his highlights. Er, Twilights.
Girl porn comes in many varieties. Bridal magazines and romance novels count high on the list. Every time you hear screaming young things piercing your inner ear, it’s probably due to girl porn involving young men like Justin Timberlake, or right now, Robert Pattinson.
Robert Pattinson, aka Edward Cullen, plays the hotter-than-thou vampire from the Twilight series.
The R. Pattz frenzie (R. Pattz is what the kiddies call him) has gotten so big, the ladies will do just about anything to roll around in the fuzzy goodness that connects them to the movement or the man.
Right now that “anything” includes getting highlights for your hair, done by the stylist who colored the hair for the actors in the first movie.
That’s right: You can get “Twilights.”
The LA Times “broke” the story recently and I called Stuart Gavert, the man behind the color of the Twilight ‘dos, just to see if it was true.
Turns out the “Twilights” look is actually an available hair service. And, “it’s recession friendly,” apparently. The “Twilight” technique involves using highlights and lowlights to make sure your hair looks natural and grows out in a fashion-friendly manner. That means no excessive—and expensive—trips to the salon to cover up your roots.
Gavert says the Twilights can cost anywhere from $40 to $250 depending on who is doing the Twilighting. (The $40 sessions are training sessions for stylists. It cost $250 for Gavert to do them himself.)
