I LOVE Vaselline's Cucumber hand lotion. Can't live without it.
I really really love NEXCARE SKIN CRACK CARE. If you ever get cut or scraped just brush it on, it acts like a liquid bandage. You will heal so fast your head will spin. :]
Does anyone here use Nivea products? I find their lipgloss to be very soothing and I enjoy using it. I need lipgloss daily as my lips get dry often and I was turned on to Nivea lipgloss and found one with spf too. Very good product and a must have.
I was wondering if anyone uses Nivea face moisturizers? I am interested in trying them. I know there are so many choices out there now with beauty care and that it is hard to make the right decision with so many to choose from. I do know that Nivea has been around for quite a long time.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for great skin care products?
I would have to say everyday consumable products that are "GREEN". No more carcinegens and fermaldahyde
in our home. Everyone thinks the government regulates these products - they don't! We have to be pro-active in making better choices for health and environment. Start reading label(s) and see what "toxins" are affecting our families health, ashma, alleries, skin rashes . Over 150 chemicals found in homes have been connected to allergies, birth defects, and cancer. www.livetotalwellness.com/maureencalo You'll thank me !!
Without having to think twice: my Dell laptop. Not b/c it's a Dell, but b/c it's a laptop. I hem-hawed forever about buying one but after a day of having it I said, "What did I do w/o it?" Yeah, its sorta bulky and heavy but I think I'd go into w/drawals w/o it. It ever crashes, I will have a new one the very next day.
Yes. The Silpat, it's the latest and the greatest cooking invention. It is to a cookie sheet what a car is to the horse and buggy , the computer to the typewriter and tampon to the maxi pad. Your cookies, and roasted veggies will make their mark and you'll have friends and neibors asking "how'd you make that." Seriously girls, it's worth every penney. Sold by this cool French company called DeMarle, http://www.demarleusa.com/. You will thank me.
I got a Sypderco folding knife from my husband. I thought it a wierd gift but started putting it in my pocket. I soon found many uses like opening boxes, cutting open envelopes or coupons from newspapers. I like the fact that it is very sharp, durable, comes in different colors and sizes, fits in my jeans pocket and I don't have to search the house for my sissors.
My kitchenaid stand mixer.. it is a godsend :)
I love the Amazon kindle-all my books in the palm of my hand.

I love my iPod Touch! I use it everyday to browse the Internet and listen to music.
Cetaphil. An inexpensive cleanser that leaves my skin so soft.
I can't live without my Acer netbook!
My Acer netbook! I really don't know how I lived without it?!!!
Imy Palm PDA keeps me going and lets me know where I need to be. It syncs up easily with my computer so I don't have 2 differeent calendars. I know there are phones that can do this sort of thing, but I just have a simple phone. Thanks for the contest.
I can't live without Living Proof's frizz control for curly hair. I LOVE it!!!!
rlgrady[at]yahoo[dot]com
I really love the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for animal hair. That thing picks up everything!
I love the AmazingCosmetics Perfectly Amazing Kit. I wonder how I ever did my makeup without it.
Wow that Polartec heated vest would look good on me.
My Blackberry has made my life easier.
The latest thing I bought that I cant live without would be a little table top timer I use by my computer. Less than 5 bucks. I set for how long I can stay at the computer. Time really slips away while web surfing@!
When I started using a small "leash" to attach my keys to my purse, I wondered why I didn't do it years ago. No fishing in the bottom of my purse. No being locked out and feelling stupid. A revelation!
Noni's biscotti. I LOVE it!
And my teenager has no appetite in the mornings, but I know I can always get him to eat a biscotti before leaving the house.
A heated seat to sit on while I watch my grandchildren play sports in the cold. I don't know how I lived without it!
Christina - xristya@rock.com - My favorite product is my computer! I got one much later than most people, and now I REALLY don't know how I lived without it!
I have two pets(a dog and a cat) that shed a lot, it's a huge problem! The best product that helps to eliminate the shedding problem is the FURminator deShedding Tool. You can buy it at about half the retail price through Amazon.com.
I think the Wii is the best thing ever!
I don't know what I ever did before my iPod.
Just a small thing, ziploc steam bags! I love them! They make it so easy to zap fresh veggies for a healthy quick meal.
I have been so happy since we got our cable modem. Where we lived before, we couldn't get cable (not without paying a huge installation fee, over $600). So, we had dial-up. Getting a cable modem is like opening a door when all you've ever had is a peephole.
My down pillow- I must say when it is time to sleep, this item helps me fall fast asleep, it is so comfortable I don't know how i lived without it. For that matter my feather bed is also a favorite--anything that helps me sleep, i get so few precious hours that i want to enjoy them in comfort.
I have to say I do not know how I lived with out my laptop. Never had a computer at home until over a year ago,
My GPS was the best purchase I ever made. I don't know how I ever found an address before we bought it.
umm....I think a heated vest is the greatest idea ever.
My ipod is awesome! I take it with me everywhere!
Polartec heated vest is my favorite because I walk 1/4 mile to work and 1/4 out of work daily and I am usually very cold in the winter.
Green vegetable bags. I get lots of fresh veggies from the farm every week. I can't always use them right away and it kills me to have to throw them away. I bought the green bags not really expecting more than a few extra days. Boy was I wrong. They are terrific! I can get an extra week or more out of most vegetables. It also doesn't matter what brand because I have bought the cheapo ones at Big Lots and they work just fine.
My first MP3 player with a hard drive. I still use it almost daily. It allows me to erase files from the player after I listen to them, which I can't do with my Zune or iPod. It's great for keeping up with podcasts and for my audiobooks.
I don't know how I lived without my Plantronics Discovery Bluetooth headset, in pretty pink too! I was always juggling trying to take care of my 3 young children, one of which is 6 moths old and also trying to make and receive important business phone calls and it was always such a stressful balancing act for me to do. Now I can talk freely, easily and the quality of sound is fantastic all the while doing literally anything and everything with my kids as well as working out, running errands and all those things that life is full of. It is the best investment we ever made and my favorite new find! And, you barely know it is in your ear and it looks very cute!
The only item is my new ipod. I do not leave home without it!
My favorite item is my ipod. It helped me get through oral surgery calm and relaxed.
My newest life-changing discovery is my Western Digital Passport 250 GB USB Portable Hard Drive! Before I found this nifty little gadget, I lived in fear that I would lose my photos and mp3s. Now that I have this super-easy way of backing up precious data, I can once again sleep easy at night!
I love my counter top ice maker. Softer ice fast!!!
Christina - xristya@rock.com My favorite product find (aside from CLOTHES!) was an on-sale electric can opener at Pick N Save that has NEVER worn out or malfunctioned, for YEARS!
My I-pod keeps me calm. I don't know what I'd do without it. Music keeps me sane!!
My favorite find is a VCR rewinder I bought at Fred Meyer in downtown Portland, Oregon. I need a new one ASAP
My favorite product find is orange glow floor cleaner. My wood floors look like they have just been refinished after cleaning them.
I would have to say Sebastion Potion no. 9 is a lifechanging product for me. I just put it in my wet hair, no blow drying necessary, and my hair is soft, silky, and styled all by itself. I saved 30 minutes off my morning routine!
I just got a wireless mouse for my laptop. No more wires! What a joy.
I love orbitz bubblemint gum I will not buy any other brand or flavor.
I won an IPod Shuffle and didn't know what it was for. 6 months later I won a $250 Sanyo MP3 player and I STILL didn't know what they were for. But this was just too much money to waste, so I learned how to use it (and then immediately set up the Ipod for my daughter). Now I can't even imagine how I did housework or yardwork or went for walks without one.
I use Ole English to clean my shower stall--it cleans oil and everything off in nothing flat!
keurig coffee maker. It requires no cleanup and coffee is made in less than a minute
I'm a dancer for a sports team, so I'm always looking for makeup that actually stays on through for an entire 4 hour game (in rain, snow, and extreme heat). My favorite eye shadow primer I've found is Urban Decay's Primer Potion. You can get it at Sephora, and it comes in a purple tube. I think they have another one that is tinted now, so I'm excited to try it out!
I love Mr clean's magic sponge, it cleans up almost all mess, especially dirty hand prints on the walls. It works when nothing else will.
Tide to Go! There are a lot of products I love, but since I found Tide to Go it has saved so many of my favorite articles of clothing from an untimely death. I am now well known as the go-to person if anyone needs a stain removed because of my penchant for always carrying one of these pens in my purse.
Hmm..my favourite product find huh?Well,i don't really have anything to say much about. It is not something big to be bragging about but i do adores my Ellips Hair Vitamin,as i helps me reduce the frizziness off whenever i have my bad hair day.Another thing which i could not leave home without are my many collection of accessories: rings, necklaces and more rings...I'm not particular with it but i'd tried to avoid gold as much as possible as i find it out of my style genre...apart from that, just loved them!!
For winter driving, I keep a can of HEET in my car. It clears the frost off my windshield in a snap. No more scraping!
I know it sounds mundane, but I love my new proline blow dryer. It works so quickly, it shaves minutes off my routine every morning.
Bed Head hair products, my secret weapon against moisture and unruly, flat hair!
my gps is the best thing ever,no matter where you are type in walmart and it will take you to the nearest.
pledge fabric sweeper saved the the day on my vacation my cashmere weater was shedding on everything in my suitcase the sweeper removed everything
Tylenol PM. When I was pregnant with my first I couldn't sleep for anything. Bless the makers of Tylenol PM, thanks to them I wasn't 200% overly hormonal... just 150%.
Elizabeth Arden Red door personalized liquid foundation. When your deliciously brown its hard to walk into walgreens and find the right color. Okay so all women find this challenging. The makeup world is still catching up trying to make an array of chocolates to match our skin.
I just discovered Sofft shoes! They were on sale at Nordstroms for a very good price. I have small but wide feet so it is very hard for me to find shoes. I am pretty short so I like wearing heels, but again, have a hard time finding comfortable ones. The Sofft shoes are the most comfortable pair of heels I have ever worn (I am in the process of selling ones that kill my feet). I loved them so much that I got onto their website and ordered more. So if you want a comfortable pair of stylish shoes go to www.sofftshoes.com
My Roomba! a robot vacuum cleaner. I took a chance when I bought it, I thought it might just be an expensive gadget that would eventually be thrown in the closet. But it really works, it does a great job while I shower or go out shopping. As a matter of fact, I very seldom use a regular vacuum, except of course to vacuum ceilings and other places where Roomba cannot go. The best thing is that it vacuums every day so I have very clean floors & I can use the time doing something else such as cooking or doing my nails.
I love Urban Decay eye shadows. They make your whole face come alive. Stay all day with no creasing. I have inspired alot of women at work to buy it
I love Origins "Youthtopia" Age-correcting serum for my face. It is wonderful! The whole Origins skin care line is great, especially their organic products.
My Keen Presidio shoes! They're a beautiful shade of wine and very comfortable with tons of support in all the right places. Plus they're water resistant which is a necessity living here in the Pacific NW.
I just adore my Febreeze Scentstories! It is actually an air freshner that continues to "play" a fragrance disk & circulates thru 5 of the selected smells so that your nose doesn't get to used to or worn out from the same old scent over & over. Perfect for entertaining! I ordered disks through Yankee Candle Co. and they have a very nice selection to choose from. If your hosting a party, it is a must! I used 1 disk thru the holidays that gave my whole house a gentle aroma of cinnamon & spice, baked apple pie, peppermint candy canes and more! It really gives those old plug in's a run for their money!
my GPS system that I bought this weekend while I was in Corpus. It got me to all the places of interest. I love it!
My laptop is the best and I don't know what I would do without it . I have the Dell Studio with all the bells and whistles and a 17 in screen. Love it
My favorite find is my Gap Curvy jeans. They look great and the denim is so soft with just a little stretch so they feel great too. I don't think I've ever owned a pair of jeans that looked good and were comfortable.
i just got a Mp3 to And i love it for that reason too. i juat cant download any music except mine is older cause it is a hand-me-down
I recently tried on and bought a REALLY nice pair of athletic shoes. I had always been shopping for shoes at the really cheap shoe store. However, a friend talked me in to spending a few more dollars on athletic shoes, and I find that Nikes fit like they are made for my feet! I am much more comfortable when doing lots of walking and/or standing. Oh, did I mention I am a teacher?
I just got an Mp3. I love it because now I don't have to listen my mom on car rides!
Reclaim with Argireline total facial cleanser and the rest of the product line. Skin refinishing serum is also awwesome. I know longer have an oily T-zone and my makeup goes on so much better. I swear by these products. C. Loughridge
My Aerogardens!! I love growing lettuce, herbs and flowers on my kitchen counter! There is nothing better than being able to harvest fresh herbs and veggies every day. It is amazing, and they look pretty, too.
now a days i sleep with my i phone. i am so obsessed in checking emails and checking news and up to date weather forcast, especially if i get up in a middle of the night to feed the baby. best part of it if i want to call my mom at least i cant check what time is it in the other side of the world thanks to the world clock in my iphone .
my best find was when my dr. prescribed lovaza. it makes me feel great & helps my heart at the same time.
I cant live without my Polar F6 heart rate monitor! Every workout is tracked for calories and heart rate to make sure I'm exerting myself. I can track the week for total calories and overall improvements. I wear it when I do housework too!
My favorite product is my desktop computer. I can't live without it.
Definetely could not live without my cell home- I feel naked with out it.
iI couldn't live without the magic eraser! This thing will clean anything!
my iphone, i would never have guessed, but i use different aps all the time
My favorite product item I can't live without is my old laptop, it is almost to the point where it is going to need to be replaced and sadly, I have not the money to buy a new one, so my entering contest (my favorite pastime) will become a thing of the past.
Thank you for the chance to be a winner.
My ultimate product find just happens to be a free, yes I said free download, that allows you to search for all your favorite products in a faster, easier, cost-saving, and fun way. Check it out at www.myshoppinggenie.com/sheryl 50. I was looking for a dell inspiron laptop computer. I downloaded this free software, and then I looked on a major search engine and used the genie to search for my laptop computer. I found the laptop I wanted at 50% off the list price using the genie. This genie has been advertised on CNN. I love it! Now I'm using it to shop for everything I want or need. This is the BEST product I've ever found and what's so amazing is that it is free. Just download it. You'll love it! Best Regards, Sheryl
i can't see myself living without my cell phone. I would go crazy without it. Once my phone was lost and the insurance company told me that I would have to wait 7 business days before I receive my replacement. I went
ballistic. i called their retention dept. stating that I was going to terminate my service... the very next day i receive the new phone. i also receive credits to my account as well.
Myra-E facial moisturizer. My skin is always either too dry or too oily, not to mention sensitive. No product EVER soothed my flaking skin without either causing irritations, breakouts or excess oil until hypoallergenic Myra-E. One-time application keeps my skin moisturized for 24 hours. Now I can't live without it. I make sure to stock up so I have it handy wherever I may be in the world. It conveniently comes in a 60ml bottle perfect in my carry-on bag during flights. Been using it for 4 years and counting...
have to be my computer - I use it for everything - when the internet goes out I have a mental shut down - I lost all my data a while back and until I could get it restored I felt as if someone had died - sick I know!!

After resisting rice cookers for years, I finally broke down and got a Zojirushi Rice Cooker, along with a rice cookbook called "The Ultimate Rice Cooker Cookbook". I can't imagine cooking rice without it: the rice is always fluffy, tasty, with no waste at all. The rice cooker keeps the rice warm for 24 hours. It can be used for soups and stews also, even risotto. It sweetly plays "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" when it starts, and "Fur Elise" when it's finished. I am very fond of it.
There is only one product for cleaning a dirty tub or shower! The WORKS TUB and SHOWER cleaner. This is so easy its fun and not very expensive either. Spray it on a damp surface and watch the soap scum, hard water stains, and what have you glide down to the drain.
I love my Rimmel Extreme Definition Mascara... it's the only one that makes it seem like I do have eyelashes
Well my miracle product is my natural progesterone cream. No kidding! Can't live without it!
Just love Dr. Bronner's Organic Shikakai Soap. It moisturizes my skin and also leaves my hair conditioned. One bottle of soap for body and hair=fewer bottles lined-up on the sides of my tub!
Baby Organics cleaners. They are better than any other household cleaner I have tried. Love them and keep a stock on hand to clean floors, stove tops, high chair, baby toys, bath tub, sinks, microwaves, windows ect..... I feel good about handing a new or used toy to my grandson and being able to keep his baby items clean and not have a lot of chemicals to worry about.
I love my Miracle 2 Soap! It's very mild and helps clear up problem skin. I've been using it over 20 years.
My steam cleaner is something I never thought I needed. Now I know how wrong I was, animals kids, all the people with shoes on the carpet, a quick steam and I feel fine about the carpet being layed on by a baby.
I never thought I'd say this, but I don't think I could live without my computer at this point in my life! It's my little window to the world. I get to keep in touch with family, send e-cards, talk to people from all over the world, meet new friends, travel to distant lands through my keyboard and learn a lot of new things! It's become very important in my daily life. I truly wonder how I ever lived without it!
I have hardwood floors and a very furry cat.It was so hard to always keep all the hair from flying everywhere.Dust mopping helped. Then I bought a robo sweeper.I should have bought it years ago.I run it every day & no more cat hair flying. I really love the robo sweeper and couldn't live with out it now.
I purchased the Haan floor steamer from one of the tv infomercials and I love it! I can steam clean my tile and hardwood floors and the steam dries immediately.
I would be totally lost without my laptop with wireless connection. There is nothing that I can not learn, no place that is too far, no problem that I can not solve. I can do it anywhere. When my children ask me a question that we don't know the answer to, we look it up. When I need a new recipe, I can find one in an instant. If I need a laugh, directions, the weather report, current events, to speak to my relatives that live out of state, or to connect with strangers with similar interests, my laptop gets me connected. I really don't know how I got along without it!
Pill Pockets are an absolute must for anyone who has to give their pet medication. As my last dog became elderly and had all the ailments that came along with age, he required medication. I tried all sorts of things to give him his pills. He wasn't allowed to eat cheese. Peanut butter worked, but was messy. Then I discovered Pill Pockets. He loved them. He'd get up from a nap to "take his pills." It was the easiest thing - just put the pills in the little meat pocket and close it up. He'd swallow it without any complaints. I plan to use them for my new puppy whenever she requires any pills. They are easy to use and no mess!
Barkeepers Friend, which is the only thing I've found that will clean spills and burnt-on stains off of my porcelain stovetop without scratching it. I prefer the liquid to the powder, which you have to mix with water so it takes an extra step. Honestly don't know what I'd do without it!
How About Those Rubber Grippers !! That Open Up Those Impossible Jar Lids Sometimes ! Ive Used Them 2 Replace A Hot Burned Out Lite Bulb ! Have Used Them N A Pinch ! On A Hot Fry N Pan Handle2 Remove Off Of The Stove ! 4 B Go N Out The Door 2 Work ! I Have Also Used Them 4 Remove N My Pets Hair From My Uniform Pants !1 Sunrise ! Thanx 4 The Chit Chat !!
I'm sure there are tons of things that I cannot live without, such as my washer and dryer..ahhaha.. I've been using Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid Storage Containers. Let me tell you, before I got these, I was fumbling through the cabinets trying to find matching bowls and lids...it was c-r-a-z-y! I have everything organized now! My old "stuff" (bowls/lids are in a cabinet that I rarely open. But my new storage containers are in the same cabinet with my dinnerware! I keep all the lids together because they fuse together and the bottom of the containers fit to the lids. OH YEAH. I bought the whole set and they are very inexpensive. I usually don't buy things for ME, I usually buy for my son and husband. I'm so glad I did! I also love the clear design of the containers, it makes it so easy to see what's inside. Also, the workmanship of Rubbermaid products is always top quality, but these containers look like they can with stand anything. I have also noticed that they don't stain!
Dawn FOAMY! It really does all it claims, and even gets old grease off of my Jennair! (I have older children who "cook" but don't seem to do a good job cleaning up afterwards.) I sang the praises of Dawn Foamy to the extent that five friends tried it just to have something to say when I carried on about it when it first came out. Love the stuff!
I attended a sustainable living fair last spring and discovered Acme shopping bags. I often forget to bring my own bags when shopping, and these colorful little nylon gems pack into a 2x3 inch pocket with a drawstring. The set of three I bought came with a 5 inch carabiner- type holder that keeps them handy. They're strong, convenient and help me avoid the endless plastic bag accumulation at home.
My favorite thing is my Roomba!! My husband surprised me with it 3 years ago at Christmas. I hope I never have to live without her (yes I said her). We even named her Hazel after a TV maid. It is wonderful to always get up in the morning to clean carpet. It is probably good for the carpeting as well. I tell my husband all the time that if Hazel or the dishwasher quit, he might as well just shoot me!!!
Well it has to be my old VITAMIX!!! Man, that was the best product I ever had in my kitchen! after 20 yrs it finally needed too much work to keep,( and someone in the family somehow took it home with them never to return it!) but I am telling you, VITAMIX is an awesome product. You can make any kind of smoothie, soup, ice cream, and it even has a blade now for dry things like nuts and grains. I would love to have their new Vitamix 5200 to replace the one that we had to say goodbye to! I actually helped out with putting together a church cafe a couple yrs ago and we made 100's , yes 100's of smoothies and frappes with my 20 yr old vitamix!.. needless to say the guys running the cafe then took my advice and purchased 2 for the cafe! Every kitchen should have one!
Clorox Green Works! I use it to clean everything from paneling to the toilet! I love how it smells and works! I don't know how I got along without it!
I would have to say Mr. Clean Magic Erasers...I know - that's a simple one...but they are amazing! Magic Erasers have saved me from having to paint more than one wall!
My husband actually gave it to me. The Senseo coffe maker. It is amazing how great it is to make only one cup of coffee in the morning and have it take 30 seconds rather than filling a coffee pot and waiting for it to brew and than saving the leftover coffee for later or dumping it all together. I wake up and can easily and quickly get my caffeine fix.
I find my edenpure electric heater to be a godsend. I am ALWAYS cold. This thing heats up my house for a low price
I can't live without these cute little note cards. WoveNotes! A uniques little flat mini note covered in designer fabric. What a way to tell my kids, husband, friends and clients how much they are appreciated. I use them for my family to say I Love You or Miss You Today. I have given them to my friends for an invite to lunch and shop. Last but not least I give quite a few to my clients to thank them for their business. Always get a big response from clients as they are so unique!
http://www.WoveNotes.com
I can't live without a Brazilian bikini! <3
I love my cell phone! It isn't anything fancy, but it sure does make life more convenient!
The Instant Button! A removable button to adjust the waist of my pants and jeans. The waist on jeans is invariably too big and gaping for my body type, but the Instant Button fixes that... in an instant. I use it every time I wear jeans. Don't need a bulky belt that just adds pudge under longer t-shirts. http://www.instantbuttonforjeans.com/
I love my iphone. If I am stuck at an airport, doctor's office, stick in traffic for 2 hours... I always have something to do. I can play games, send emails, surf the web, update my calendar, or of course, make calls.
I can't live w/o my Samsung Instinct cell phone. My job has been monitoring internet usage and I can access the internet, radio, my e-mail, and top news, etc. with one touch. I live in a cubicle nation at work and can text w/o everyone hearing my personal conversations on the phone. No more worrying about my supervisor or the department head catching me on the internet or on a personal call.
I don't know how I survived housework without my Dyson vacuum! With a few extra attachments, I can dust, get the cobwebs from the corners and suck the carpet right off the floor, without any other product!!! I love this thing. The Dyson guy (in the commercial) speaks the truth! The Dyson will never lose suction. Anyway, it is the greatest machine made for woman (or man, if he vacuums). This is my favorite product find, if you have one you know what I mean.
I got a SmartShopper and it has made my grocery trips 1000% better. We tell it what we need and I can get a printed list before I got out the door. I can note which items I have coupons for or are on special. I love it.
I hope I want have to live without St. Ives Aprivot Scrub. Our body sheds dead skin cells everyday as a part of the renewal process, face included.People are always saying I don't look my agd, they've even gone as far as to say that Iook late twenties or early thirty,I'm 44.It's funny but they're always looking at my face when they say it;not my clothe or hair style. I contribute this to the scrub, exfoliateing has to decrese wrinkles, and produce a smooth surface, it is gental enough even on my sentive skin ,and I don't even use the sentive formula. It truly is a great product.and you'd be surprized at the amount of people who visibly need it,and the peoplewho spend excessive money on more exspensive products. The lotions Iv'e come to trust as well; I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with Swisserland and that hash cold weather that the researchers havd tapped into a good find.GREAT PRODUCT,NOT COSTLY,NOT ANNIMAL TESTED.
I love the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser I use it all over my house for cleaning and spots
My favorite product find is my Breville Ikon Indoor Grill. It's their mid-sized model and I've had it a year now. Perfection!!
Benefit's F-Y-Eye eyelid primer. I have oily skin, and any eye make-up usually ends up in the crease in about 2 hours, but this stuff keeps my make-up in place all day! I love it!
My favorite product right now is a pore reducer called Dr. Brandt's Pores No More.
My GPS, Did I mention my GPS? And agan my Garmin GPS. I love this thing. Do not know how I found my way out of a paperbag without it.
My favorite beauty website is totalbeauty.com because they offer samples and contests and you can find a review of any product you may want to find. My best beauty find so far is jergens natural glow gradual tanning lotion face. I have no color in the winter and this gives me a little touch of color and a healthy looking glow. I'm a fan for life =)
Hello Ladies!!
I love to shop on line and I love the best bargains.
download the shopping genie.. www.myshoppinggenie.com/geniepartner
.FREE and safe. It gets me to sites that I wouldn't find with google and yahoo. I saved money on my daughters college text books [$200] Now I'm hooked!!!
I can't believe I ever lived without my Susi garlic press. I keep my hands sticky-stinky free and it saves so much time I used to spend mincing and chopping. Just pop the garlic in (skin and all) and press. Voila! Out comes the most perfect little pressed garlic bits!
I can't belive I lived (and cooked) without my Susi garlic press! Love it! Saves time I spent mincing and dicing and leaves my hands free of that sticky garlic scent!!!
Glue Gun! I purchased one to use in a craft project I started ( a put together and frame jigsaw puzzles). I also purchased a Staple Gun at the same time ( fixing a few picture frames). Since getting them I have found many uses for, and I don't know how I got along without either of them.
I discovered Infusium leave-in Treatment 20 years ago and have used it ever since to detangle my chemically-treated hair after shampooing. Can't live without it! I pour some into mini-bottles to take on vacation.
I still love my Swiffer Wet Jet. Saves so much time!
My flat iron. I have naturally curlly hair that I straighten almost everyday thanks to this wonderful product. Only wish I would have had it in my earlier when I struggled with controlling my curls.
Frugalwon1
My Pill Splitter! I can buy bigger pills and cut them in half and save. It is easy to use and is an ideal gift for
seniors with arthritis. I don't have to worry about cutting myself. I can cut pills in half safely and securely.
Then tablets are easier to swallow. I got my Pill Splitter from Ben Turner. My husband and I call it my BENNY.
The Pill Splitter is the perfect gift of love:buy it for grandma for Mother's Day!
For me, it's a tie between Post-It Notes and My 'Good Grips' tongs for the kitchen. I aspire to be a chef so I will go with the tongs for this one...I am constantly cooking and trying new things and usually for a lot of people so I have to move fast. The tongs are perfect for every second i am in the kitchen and rarely leave my hands and the Good Grips kind are perfect becuase it has a strong scalloped base so opening things and picking things up or flipping them open are quite easy and they withstand very hot temperatures. The best thing about them hands down is that they are extremely sturdy, comfortable in your grip and the don't pinch anywhere on your skin! Perfect kitchen tool for someone who likes to cook... or not! :-)
My Palm PDA. I've used one (I'm on my second model) for about 10 years and could not live without it. It keeps me completely organized with the calendar and phone book, but doesn't have a lot of unnecessary features to complicate things.
It's funny to think of a cleaning item as something you can't live without, but the swiffer duster is the greatest! I love how it traps the dust on the ceiling fan, gentle enough to use on the flat screen TV or computer panel. I have to use it every time I clean--which isn't often enough according to my MIL's standards, but it works for me.
WD40 is a great grease stain remover when used with detergent, too.
With two active boys in the house I can't live without my Oxyclean. They get their clothes so dirty and that stuff really takes the stains out!
I cannot live without my Silk 'N Dreams silk pillow case and silk eye mask - I use them at home and take them with me everywhere, even at my recent hospital stay! The silk pillow case is great for your face and hair; the silk eye mask soothes you to sleep and blocks out the light; its the only way I get a good night's sleep ... very important in these troubling times! The gorgeous, colorful silk prints look and feel scrumptious. I used to sleep on a poly-satin pillowcase (cheaper but no comparison!) to minimize morning "bedhead" and facial wrinkles, but the silk is soooo much better for you. It is eco-friendly, hypo-allergenic and anti-bacterial and is so smooth and soft my face and hair glide over the surface. It's even machine washable! Next I want to get the reversible silk/minky throw ... it's looks so luscious. http://www.silkndreams.com
Years ago, on a whim, I bought a "Micro Buddy" set at a home show. Three sizes were included. One puts water in the bottom and it steams the food in the microwave. Fairly quickly I wondered how I'd ever managed without it! It reduces cooking time and keeps food from drying out (even when reheating bread or pasta). I use it nearly daily.
I'm 50+ and have very fair, normal skin. I like SIMPLE skin care and don't wear makeup. My favorite skincare products are Avon's MAX self-adjusting moisturizer with SPF15. It's in a pump bottle, a little goes a long way, and my Avon rep brings it right to me. It goes on sale frequently and runs around $12. My other necessity is Olay Definity Night Creme. WONFERFUL stuff comparable to expensive dept. store brands and under $25 at WalMart or Target. One jar lasts several months.
How in the world did I clean before the invention of the "Magic Eraser/" There isn't a day that goes by I don't use that little white eraser sponge for the sink, the counter, the stove and anything else I can find to clean. Mr. Clean scores another hit!
My Amazon Kindle! I am reading so much more now, because it is always with me. I highly recommend the Kindle to everyone!!
Ok I'm torn between my cell phone and new camera which is small enough to keep in my purse.
The other day I saw the most magnificent rainbow. I stopped and took an incredible picture that is now the background picture on my computer.
I also discovered that if I put my cell on camera mode it can magnify small print. Great for reading menus when I forget my glasses.
I never thought I'd say this, but it's my computer! The world has opened up to me through it and I'm able to do so much more than I would have been able to do without it! Including staying in touch with friends and family, finding old lost friends....and family, sending e-cards, online chatting, banking, buying, selling and trading! Not to mention reading books, finding information about anything whatsoever and even praying! It's amazing!
The stand mixer! How did we cook without it!
My all time favorite product is the Color on Eye Envy at Sephora. This fabulous invention has made eye makeup quick and easy, and the end result is beautiful. They are a package of 5 stickers that you apply to your eyes, blend with your finger and touch up with a powder. It takes less than 3 minutes and your eyes look like they were done by a professional. They are expensive, 25.00 for a package of 5, but WOW they are worth it.
As a baby boomer and a recovering sun worshiper, I can't live without Retin-A. In August I will be the speed limit, five-squared -- in other words, 55 -- and my facial skin looks much younger than my age as a result of using Retin-A on my face for more than a decade. Unfortunately, my hands look more like hands of 65-year-old. A word of advice to you young whippersnappers -- use Retin-A on your hands, too. LOL.
Oh, to pick just one. I would have to say Fresh's Lip Treatment. Yes, it is VERY pricey, but I find that it's worth every penny. One of the first features noticed are the lips, and if they are not well taken care of, it will be gossip for whomever you are around. The flakey, dry, chapped look is never appreciated. Of course, if $22.50 is out of your budget, the mod.skin organic Chilean Lip Panache is a great buy at &8.95. Neither of the above are greasy, and they are booth long-wearing.
I remarried and moved from my small town I lived in almost all my life was turning 50 and needed a new pick me up and found Total Effects with 7 Anti aging therapies in 1 vitamin and anti- oxidant moisturizer for "visibly younger looking skin and it worked. Upon returning home my sister looked at me and asked me," what are you doing your skin looks great is it that "organic food " you keep talking about"? HAHA ! And then I told about this wonderful product I found and have been using ever since. When I am with my daughter we are asked if we are "sisters" ! My skin feels as soft as my new granddaughter's,Grace's butt ! I recommend this product to everyone and would sneak some on my husband's face if he would let me:) !
The product I could not live without is my READERS, meaning my reading glasses, I bought a pair of simple reading-magnifying glasses from CVS and now find I rely on them to see just about anything I have to read.I would be lost without them now.
Hmmm...where to begin?? Microplane grater, Cuisinart Grnd-n-Brew, Bebe Pod (which my daughter has since grown out of but we got SO much use from it), Shout Color Catcher sheets; Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat for my tired, new mom eyes, and the list could go on and on.
I received a wall mounted candle sconce (the kind where 8 individual “S” candle holder ‘hooks’ get hung over 36 inch long top bar). These style candle mounts come in many different lengths. I loved the particular sconce I received but it was too large for hanging anywhere on my walls. Instead I hung it as a curtain valance over my bathroom window. In my case my bathroom faces the woods so privacy is not an issue. It’s so pretty! On winter evenings I light the candles and take a luxurious bath in flickering candlelight. The flames further reflect in the window giving the appearance of more light than is actually there. You can use this on other windows over book nooks and cottage windows, as well.
My Dirt Devil Dust Buster hand-vac. The strong suction picks up mostly everything, even glass. I use it everyday to go over the floor where theres little bits of dirt or food. I clean off my coffee table with it. I dont have to pull out my vaccuum evertime someone drops by, its definitly something i couldnt do without.
my new best friend, my life saver is the Swiffer duster, it goes everywhere, and it works. it's a beautyful family helper, and dusting is no problem no more.
I am absolutely in love with bare essentuals mineral foundation. After listening to my mom rave about it, and finding out my sisters and most of my girlfriends were all users, I decided to break down and shell out the extra cash to try it. My main reservation was that I have problem skin and usually prefer heavy coverage. I never imagined a light weight powder could work so well. The magic is in the way it reflects the light, allowing a natural look and feel, while hiding imperfections. I'm telling you if you haven't tried it yet, you must! Oh, and I've tried other brands, but nothing works near as well as the real deal. My old favorites feel gunky and look phony now...I'll never go back!
Most of the products I can't live without are electronic computer, cell phone and portable landline. I also like food anything chocolate
It may not be too new...but I loved when I found it. Those tape rollers are the most awesome thing ever!!! They can be used to pick up pet fur from furniture and off clothes, they clean lampshade without leaving any marks as they pick up, and don't rub in. They are great for de-pilling sweaters of fuzz and such (especially black sweater of white fuzzies!) They are great to keep in the car, they clean the car seat well. Before this I would always be lugging out vacuums or hand picking off the lint. I love these things...I am always finding new ways to use it. They also work great for holding nails or screws as you are working to hang something up and dont want to hunt and find the nails...they won't drop!
My iPhone s always at my side...it is too addicting...from searching for new apps...to e-mail..to more blgging! Love it!
One product I could not live without since I first bought it is Palmer's Cocoa Butter. It is seriously the best stuff ever. It smells heavenly and makes skin so smooth. I have the lotion, the cream, the soap, and the stick which is great to use as a lip balm. I love the stuff, what can I say!
Chime in?
My chimes are just amazing, I hear them sing in the gentle breeze, I wonder how I lived without the serene and pretty, please...it seems when I am rushing frantically or worrying about a thing, I hear the graceful dancing of the little bells, on wind...
And suddenly it calms me, to stop and listen well,.. time is very precious , reminds the message of the happy bells.... Take your time, think ahead, in these moments may blessings be said.
My daughter just got a Remington Wet 2 Straight flat iron. It steams your hair dry so you can skip the hair dryer. Combined with Got 2b CrazySleek Hot Smooth flat iron cream it's the best flat iron I've ever used! My daughter has a lot of very tight curls -- this is a great product combination!
Hands down my Chillow Pillow! This incredible little velour pad with a foam core keeps 10 cups of water cool (WOW) the whole night through. No more tossing and turning to find relief from those - ahem - magic moments of being a girl of a certain age. Once you have one, you'll never leave home without it.Also great for kids with fevers, sunburn or torrid summer nights. Laurencia Ciprus
My boyfriend gave me a wireless mouse for my laptop for Christmas. I love it! The laptop touch pad is just so annoying and difficult to control, and the wireless mouse is the perfect solution. In fact, I loved it so much that I went out and bought myself two more; one for my desktop computer at home, and one for my computer at work. No more mouse "tails" in my way! And the Logitech brand mouse is small so it fits perfectly in my hand. I'll never use a wired mouse again!
"coffee for one" french press. it's the perfect amount of coffee (good coffee!) and it's in an awesome bright container. mine is red and i love it. http://www.coolhunting.com/archives/2006/11/coffee.php
cell phone... honestly, without it, i couldn't survive... plus there's no home line!
Wireless mouse. It is so wonderful not to be tangled.
I love my pink dell laptop my husband bought for me. He says I am always on it and tells everyone that sometimes he wants to jack it against the wall! LOL He bought me a pink extra drive. I also cannot live without my I-Phone (that I covered with pink). I use my I-Phone for my shopping list, my calendar, my timer for my washer and dryer.... I even use the games when I am waiting for an appointment! In addition to being a phone, it is handy! I am a spoiled wife!
My husband had to drag me kicking and scraming to use our first computer. :) He can't get me away from it now.
Curly Sexy hair products...makes my hair feel AMAZING. Moisturizes, and cleanses...no Frizz either....I will never buy any other shampoo, conditioner, or moisturizer. Also, ION mousse is amaza-za-zing! It's doesn't dry hard, so your hair is shiny and touchable...LOVE it!
enter me please, thank you for the contest
AQUAGE transforming paste. It gives your hair a lift and staying power. I have tried lots of other less expensive pastes and products. But this product is always a winner and for less than $20.00 it is well worth it!
Wubbanub pacifiers. These have been our saving grace for our colicky daughter.
Petroleum Jelly, I use that more than regular lip balms.
Brightening Eye Color by E.L.F. in Luxe. I've used other brands but I keep coming back to this color.
Our toaster oven. I didn't have much use for one, never wanted one.....but my husband grew up with one. Now I can't imagine life without it.
The stick blender would be my everyday companion. I love handy-dandy gadgets.
The Swiffer and bagged salad have changed my life.
I had a lure one time called a vibric Rooster Tail that could catch a fish on more casts than anything else I ever tried. I caught several types of fish with that lure and used it all around America before I snagged and snapped my line. I have been unable to find a replacement in several years of searching.
My Revo Styler is my favorite product to use while blow drying my hair. Puts a nice flip in my hair that lasts all day. My sister loves it to straighten her out of control curly hair.
My stick blender! I use it all the time and don't know how I would make some of our favorite recipes without it.
Pretty pathetic but my OXO sink strainer. I was always complaining about washing dishes and dirty sinks and hated cleaning out the strainer. My hubby didn't like that I was constantly buying new ones when mine got dirty. Now we have the silicone OXO one that flips out to empty and you never have to touch any of the gross stuff it comes right off.
Has to be our Ron Popeli Showtime Rotisserri. We have been using that thing at least twice a week now for the last 8-10 years. Guess a Vegam wouldn't think that though. Thanks for a great giveaway!
Comfort is very important to me, so a cushioned seat (nest like) is very good. As I age, comfort is becoming more important.
My all time favorite find is the Hydracoach Water Bottle. It calculates how much water I need to drink and how much I have drank throughout the day. It is the most amazing find! I never realized how little water I consumed until I bought this bottle. Now I know I'm getting 80 ounces a day and I feel so much better.
My Dirt Devil Broom Vac! I received it as a Wedding gift 10 years ago and still love it!
gee, i have a few: my i-pod for sure, as a lover of music i can have all i want, where i want and when i want.
the is my tens unit- i have fibromyalgia and bad knees. this little unit hooks to my pain area, and shoots little electical impulses to help release the pain. it is a godsend.
The Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day cookbook has been a wonderful find. It really does have great recipes for amazing bread and I wonder how I've lived without it since I received it a few months ago.
I got a handheld Reach flosser...it makes it so easy to floss that I actually remember to use it daily. I've had it for 2 years now!
My electric juicer - use it every day
Its gotta be the Feliway plug ins. I recently introduced a couple more rescued cats into the household and the feliway scent made everything go much more smoothly than usual. I was shocked at how well they worked!
I have a cell phone with the QWERTY keyboard. No more pressing buttons three and four times to send text messages! What a pleasure!
I honestly don't know how I lived before my iPod. How did anyone live before the iPod? Having it around is like having a tiny bit of magic in my pocket.
My iPod Shuffle. I never knew how much I loved music or how soothing it was. I started out with one and now have 3 of them, so one is always charged. They go to work with me, I have an adaptor to listen over my car stereo, listen when I clean, grocery shop or even while I'm sitting at the computer or working out. I am a much happier person because of it and even things I hate to do have become easier.
The shuffle is so small you can't even tell you have it on, and it just clips to your clothes so it's not a problem to take anywhere.
My first food processor was a delight, chip, slice, mince, it did everything!
I meant to say that I held off on getting an iPhone until a friend upgraded to 3G and I inherited their older version. Holy moly, the thing is amazing. I can't believe how useful it is, for everything from amusing my kids to blogging to making phone calls. Genius.
I love PB2 powdered peanut butter.....85% less calories than the real stuff but the same great taste!
I bought a 2 inch scrapper that cleans everything
M.A.C Cosmetics make-up wipes. Call me lazy, but I barely have time to apply my make-up, let alone wash it off. These disposable facial wipes are easy, fast and loaded with great stuff for your skin. A bargain too at about 25 bucks for a pack of 100!
My french press coffee maker. I tried other methods of making one cup at a time, but the single serving brewing machines do not make good coffee.
My Uggs. My feet are always cold and all I have to do is put on my Uggs and within minutes my feet are toasty warm. I already worn through one pair and now I'm on my second. They are so comfortable I wear them all the time.
My new Dyson Animal. With two cats, I'm not sure how I lived without it - the carpets are now beautiful and it's easy to use - I'm happy.
My Omron pedometer!!!!! I wear it all day and it motivates me to move more---so far 85 lbs lost!
The Iphone. I bought another brand touchscreen to avoid the hoopla. Once I finally caved and got the Iphone, now I can't believe I ever lived without it.
My Bissell Steam Mop. No more buckets of water and quicker drying time.....love it!
My son bought me a irobot Roomba for Christmas, an automatic vacuum. I have been asking for this forever. Having Rheumatoid Arthritis, it's difficult and painful for me to push a hand vacum. I'm also a neat freak concerning my floors because I have a cat. This robot vaccum is so easy to use, and easily cleans the floors of cat hair. All I have to do is push a button and it does the work on it's own, and it's easy to clean. It's saved my arms, shoulders, and knees from unneeded pain. I don't believe in loving a material object, but I like this product a lot, and recommend it all the time to people I meet who also suffer with pain.
A really beautiful pink summer top that I feel great in when I wear it. Thank you!
My coupon keeper. I picked up 5 at a dollar store some time ago, and am now on the last one. They lasted almost 10 years, which is pretty good for some low cost cardboard!
Earlier this year my daughter had a fundraiser at her school. It was one of those catalog ones filled with wrapping paper and other slightly over priced items, but since I am a fan of Ace Of Cakes I had been thinking of getting creative with cake decorating. There it was on the page, a $9.99 cake decorator set with different attachments! I used it to make a cupcake cake shaped like a purse and different colored food coloring. It was the best cake I've ever made and my daughter was so happy! All her friends kept asking who made the cake, she was so proud of me! So my most favorite item in the whole world is my little cake decorator set. I don't know how we ate such booring cakes before it! LOL! Thanks! and Happy Anniversary Divine Caroline!
Witch hazel. It's so much cheaper than many of the pricey skin toners on the market. I happened to notice one of the toners I used to use had witch hazel in it, so that's what initially prompted me to just buy witch hazel. Not only is witch hazel a great skin toner, it helps soothe sunburned & wind chapped skin, among a number of other great uses.
Momomadeit's shop on ETSY SHOPS has the most wonderful aprons. These are awesome for those of us that like to get dressed up and entertain and cook.
I can't live without my Roomba! I just love sitting around watching a robot do my housework!
gorgeous BCBG platform peep-toe pumps for just over 40 dollars! Beige leather, with a golden finish and they are the most comfortable heels I've ever walked in!!
Hot pink lipstick from Jordana, only 99 cents! It's great for when I'm in the mood for something really fun.
My laptop! I am lost without my laptop. With medical issues, it's my connection to the world. I have learned a lifetime on my laptop.
interesting chit chat. Thanks.
My pressure cooker cooks everything super fast and always tender. Makes me feel like a gourmet cook when I use it.
My traveler tooth picky thingy. It hooks to my keychain and it is just wonderful!
Carmex for lip gloss. Simple and sexy!
I can't live without Plamers cocoa butter formula with vitamin E. IIt really heals and softens rough and dry skin.
I could not get by without my rice cooker.
I can't live without my Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. I use them every day around the house.
I can't live without my Kleen Kanteen.
Well, this is my favorite product, hand sanitizer, I work at a preschool and wouldn't be without it
I love my ipod and I cannot imagine being without it.
Something I've just tried out actually- Pledge Pet Sweeper! It picks up all the hair, including mine. Love it!
Something I can't live without, my Craftmatic Bed. Since I became ill, it has been a lifesaver. Second in line would be my Oreck vacumn cleaner, yesssss, it is light, and yessss it is very good. Really don't know how I did it without it all these years.
Purity by Philosophy is fantastic! It is the perfect cleanser. I cannot live without it.
My MP3 player. I can't live a day without music.
Garnier Nutrise Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Cream
My laptop, without it I was secluded in the basement office with no light of day and no ability to be mobile.
my pc - I have no idea how I ever managed without one
There is probably only one item that I found by chance, and could not live without. When my son was first born he was a restless sleeper at night, so I had very little sleep too. I found this little machine that attaches to anything and jiggles it, making it vibrate, like riding in a car. It worked like a charm and helped my little bundle of joy sleep at night!
oxo vegetable peeler - works well and easy on the wrist
This is going to sound very matronly of me, but I've become a Gold Bond Ultimate Healing convert...it's the only thing that works on my oftentimes cracked and bleeding dry hands...and it's not greasy like a lot of other stuff I've tried! I'm also a HUGE fan of Mehron makeups, being a theatrical makeup geek.
Love my stand mixer. How did I live without one?
I love my crock-pot. It automatically goes to "warm" when done cooking. It is so nice to come home to a hot meal!
I like my piano lamp. It illuminates my printed music just right and does not cast a glare on my music.
I have a fuzzy vest I found that I absolutely love! It is gorgeous!
I am generally not a "How could I ever live without this" type of person. I like gadgets I get them some I use others not-so-much. I purchased a steamer a while back and we have used this QUITE a bit since my son has been requesting SUSHI. I have a feeling it will be getting used "double-time" since we have just begun lent and my son has asked if we can eat fish everyday instead of on Fridays (not sure he is getting the sacrifice part of lent). Previously we had made Sushi rice without the steamer and the steamer is a godsend and makes the process much easier and manageble. Thanks for this product!!
when I got a PDA, I couldn't imagine how I lived without it. Finally I could remember all my appointments and birthdays and anniversaries I needed to send cards for. Er, my PDA remembered, and reminded me, LOL!
I cannot live without the magic eraser which has come in handy to remove kids crayons from the apartment wall.
My smart phone! I have to stay connected!
I could not live without my dirt devel hand vac. I use it almost everyday!!
I had to think about this for a moment but then the answer became obvious to me. We love to travel and do it as much as we can. We also have a very spoiled 5 year old furbaby cat who likes to travel with us. :-) The product that I wondered how we did without is a Pet Stroller. It is *fabulous*... totally enclosed with mesh for safety. It gets zippered and a leash can come through a tiny opening in the top. In addition to keeping our little furry girl safe, there's room for drinks and a place underneath for our shopping packages. I really don't know what we'd do without that product! Everywhere we go, we get asked where the person asking can find one of those. :-)
agree with the panini maker- I use it for all sorts of things every day and my convection oven
It might sound silly but I bought one of those automatic lighters for candles, and I don't know how I lived without it. I light candles every day, so it's a great gadget, I love it.
We have several pole lamps throughout our house & have always had a problem with the switches going out on us. My first solution was to plug them into strips, which when sitting on the tables was not a pretty look, not to mention that we couldn't leave anything on the strip that we didn't want turned off every night. I first saw the Wireless Handy Switch on one of those As Seen on TV ads. Luckily, I found the same item at Wal-Mart (avoiding the S&H fee). One flip of the switch & only the lamp turns off. A "true to its advertisement" item!
those are some real nice prizes, i'm hoping....
Ok, it's not much, but I bought one of those Pledge Fabric Sweepers for Pet Hair, and it works! Now people can sit on my sofa! I sweep the cat with it; he doesn't mind a bit.
There are several things that I don't know what I would do without. One is my iPod Touch. I have songs, audiobooks, podcasts of books being read and games on it. A real boredom buster if there ever was one. Next is my portable DVD player. That sure has come in handy alot of different times. And the Rock Band gets my whole family together alot more often now.
My favorite product is Cuddle Duds. It is thermal underwear that truly keeps me warm. What is so great about them is that they are super thin and lightweight. I never though something comfortable and light could give me so much warmth under my clothes. It is so much easier to stay warm this way than having to add bulky sweaters or jackets!
I bought a Shark steamer after watching an infomercial on late night TV. I absolutely love it! It cleans anything and everything without using any chemicals. I only wish the water chamber was larger so the steam would last longer.
I have a yoga bag made by Gravis/Burton that is as long as a yoga mat and allows you to snap the mat snuggly onto the outside of it, while you can stuff a blanket and other goodies inside. If it's pouring rain, you can put the mat on the inside, but the outside caddy is very handy. There are also a zip outer pockets and a holder for a water bottle. I love it!
My panini maker. It makes such wonderful sandwiches, plus I can use it for other items. Makes dinnertime much easier (and I'm not dirtying up a bunch of pans)
I am an avid coffee drinker, I really like the blended ice drinks! Well I was noticing that at some of the coffee shops I would go to they would have posters up saying that they use BIG TRAIN products, so I started paying more attention to how they would make my drink. Then I went home and did a little research and found a website, which I have now been using for almost 10 years, called boxofgoodies.com. I order the mocha big train mix and make my own coffee drinks at home. I have saved myself tons, and yes I mean tons of money, by making the best homeade coffee drinks and not paying $5.00 a glass. I can make about 40 drinks out of one 3.5 lb bag that costs only $27.00 shipped! This is my best find because I can still have my indulgence and also it doesn't cut into the budget as bad as it did going to the big label coffee shops.
My fabulous find is Swiffers, the wet ones. I use them for my entire house, walls & floors!
I currently love my Aveeno Positively Ageless night cream. I am not much of a primper, but this stuff is wonderful. I put it on at night and I can't believe how soft and smooth my face is in the morning. This is a great find.
This is exactly how I feel about my iphone. It took a great deal of gumption for me to spend so much on a telephone but thankfully, I was hired to write a few articles about this very phone for a corporation. The pay for those articles funded my iPhone, with enough left over to squelch that guilt!
I could not live without it at this point. its so nice to roll over in the morning and check email as I allow myself time to wake up. Its doubly nice to be out and about and use the GPS or maps to find a location, click on the url and go to their website or click on their number and instantly call to get store hours!
Okay....so I love my iPhone.
I also love me some dunkin donuts coffee beans!!!!!!!!!!!
I have naturally very curly, hard-to-control hair, and I sometimes feel like I've tried every hair product on earth, to no avail. Once I tried Paul Mitchell's Super Sculpt, I vowed never to use anything else ever again. It keeps my curls from getting fuzzy, but it doesn't get crunchy and wet-looking like gel. Plus, it's way less expensive than a lot of salon-brand products and it smells like applies.
Well, this might sound a bit odd, but my favorite product find, really has no name. I call it Pink Stretch Film. I bought it from a huge reclaimation site, since they are a clearing house for many Industrial items, I call it a kind of recycling. This 'product' was a 12 inch by 18 inch roll of paper backed adhesive film. It is pink as you already know. I have sent some to the Canary Islands, to be used as patio bug and wind/dust shield. I have made products for myself, like freezable cold packs, homeopathic herb patches, elastic hair bands, elastic bungie bands, breast pads, little pink sticky notes, seals and labels for all plastic bags in the kitchen and bath. It feels like skin, very stretchy with waffle pattern adhesive. Itmay be intended for stage make-up or wig concealment. All I know is that I have a lifetime supply, 2400 feet per roll, and I bought the other one cause no one wanted it. I hope I never run out of it, it has become indespensable to me now.
I have a really girly laptop bag that I adore - and actually found through DivineCaroline's Found It, Loved It! The brand name is Nanda and from the outside, it looks like a normal, cute tote with pink flowers and a cream and brown background. The zipper that holds the laptop is practically hidden and rest of the bag is large enough to fit all my workout gear. I use it every day!
My latest product find is my Erin Condren calendar. The format for the weeks is exactly how I like it, you get tons of stickers, unique paper clips, a bookmark and cover that are personalized with your name. You can pick from a number of different colors. I carry it with me everywhere.
While it's not particularly niche or out of the ordinary, I absolutely love my Sigg water bottle. It's convenient to stuff in my purse, never spills, and keeps drinks cold (or hot). I also adore my camelbak for skiing and hiking. I sense a trend...
