My Country, My Pride

There beds are warm and my chidren sleep
but I know somewhere a mothers child weeps
there is klling tonight, there’s cold and there's death
in the desert somewhere your husband, a father, mother daughter or sons last breath

The battles fought on this foreign shore
cannot justify the lives we have lost
we have fought and died for an unjust cause.

I will defend this country to keep it free
I will bear arms to preserve this democracy
I will hold our flag high and proud
I shout to all nations hear me loud
Do not tread these shores to do us harm
that's when America will bear arms
Not for oil or a lie that’s been told
Not on shores we do not hold.

Bring them home to a land that’s free
Our forefathers fought hard for this democracy
Let the lies stop here we do not fear
Lets have no more death and no more tears
