There were a few phrases we heard over and over again at the 84^th Academy Awards by fashion commentators: Kelly Osbourne insisted that every woman on the red carpet “went out of her box” with their red carpet fashion choices, while other fashion “experts” asserted that this year’s Oscars was all about “old Hollywood glamour” (again).  Right off the bat, these two cliché comments completely cancel each other out because “old Hollywood” is just about the most overdone look an actress can turn to.
