Illustrator and Tiki hipster legend Josh Agle (a.k.a “SHAG”) will reveal his Haunted Mansion-inspired illustrations with a series of prints celebrating the Haunted Mansion’s 40th anniversary. In his signature style, Shag created the series of illustrations highlighting some of the more memorable parts of the mansion.
SHAG is a California-based illustrator best known for his swingin’ retro style and social commentary. His background is as eclectic as his art. Raised in a strict Mormon family and schooled in accounting, SHAG founded a music label and worked as a commercial artist until he found his groove in illustration.
His Haunted Mansion illustrations will be on display at the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland on August 9, 2009 with a Spirited Cocktail Reception on August 8. More details can be found here.
