On a Saturday in 2007, Craigslist Foundation will produce its second annual New York Tri-State Area Nonprofit Boot Camp, a unique community effort planned, produced and promoted in partnership with over 75 organizations. Its focus is simple—to educate, empower and connect the next generation of nonprofit leaders and social entrepreneurs.
Nonprofit Boot Camp is quickly becoming one of the most widely anticipated and well-attended events in the New York Tri-State Area’s nonprofit calendar. In 2006, the event attracted over 700 emerging and established nonprofit leaders for a day of workshops, keynotes, one-on-one counseling and professional development. The sold-out event earned a 99.5 percent approval rating from a sold-out crowd. With an anticipated audience of more than 1,000, Boot Camp 2007 will be an even more vibrant and high-impact event.
2007 delegates will have the opportunity to choose between 5 Educational Tracks and sessions in:
• Nonprofit Basics
• Fundraising
• Social Entrepreneurship
• Board of Directors
• Technology
• Big Ideas
