Earth to Sherrolyn, I'm not sure what you mean by "true" but in this country one has to be an American to run for president.

I do not vote Demotrat or Republican - I vote for the individual I believe will be the best they can possibly be and do what is best for the American people.
This person must be a true American in order to get my vote.

Of course I'll vote for whoever the nominee is. The other option is John McCain...no thank you!!

The democratic in-fighting must stop or McCain will win. Clinton and Obama have extremely similar platforms which, to me, make it easy to decide to rally behind whomever gets the nomination...even if it is not my preferred candidate Part of their message from here on should be support the Democrats no matter what not "I'm better than he is / she is". I agree with Hilary that this delay could cost the Democrats the election. I also believe that "bellyaching" and dwelling on the he said/she said/pastor said is adding to this delay! The focus needs to be on McCain and the REAL issues at hand!

I can only speak for myself, but I will support either Obama or Clinton, though I do prefer one over the other. I think the strife between the two Democratic candidates has prevented the party from addressing the ultimate goal, and that is beating John McCain in the fall. History suggests this delayed start could cost the Democrats the election.
