Sarah Palin: What Are Your Thoughts?

Every street I walk down, every coffee shop I walk into, every person in the U.S. is talking about Sarah Palin. One side looks at her as a “fresh drink of water for the political world.” Others think she doesn’t have enough experience, is distracted by family, and isn’t running for “best mom.” We want to know what you think. Is Palin’s entrance into the race distracting from the real political issues at hand (i.e., healthcare, taxes, and America’s safety) or is she exactly what the Republicans needed to fight fire with fire and make this the most crucial election of the past thirty years? Chime in on this hot topic.

That Sarah Palin is a nice change from the old-men that run for the U.S. President with endless compromise, she might even be less of a conservative than Obama.

.....and Kristi....poor poor Kristi. She rambles... Correction...I 'have' put my opinion out in this thread and the light of day, many, many times and the critiques were stacked against me so high and deep that at times, I thought I would crumble. But I held my head high, and I crumbled NOT. Nor will I. Style? Not my style for people to critique me? That is all you are capable of, Kristi, is critiquing me. You got tired and got lost for awhile. Glad to see you ate your energy bar and gained the strength to attack me again. For awhile, there, I was worried about you not being able to keep up with me. Now, back to the topic of Sarah and the success of her book. I got it for Christmas, but most people actually stood in freezing weather for hours to have her sign one during her book tour. Guess it goes without saying that she dominates the best seller list......so I won't say it, but your know it. =P

Thanks Janice for the advice. I know it looks as though I am a lone voice, doesn't it? But I don't really seek an audience...even though I have one. I am taking advantage of this site. It is a journal of sorts. For me. To come back to and use as a reminder of how I was 'right on'. If my opinions seem strong, it is because I am strong. It is my blood. For you see, I am the descendant of a legal immigrant. A 15 year old boy who rode a tramp steamer across the Atlantic and plow the soil in a Mid-Western state called Nebraska. I wasn't even a twinkle in my great-grandpa's eyes, but what he did for himself...he did for me and mine. Grateful? You bet. Humbled...is more like it. So when I see what Obameo and his thuggery cabinet is trying to do to my country...the mother bear in me arises. I am sorry that I have not made it easy for you to follow my predictions or see my work as a whole. For you see. I am busy. Busy trying to save America. But....I appreciate you.

Janice, I think that is a wondferful suggestion. You and I differ greatly in ideology, but that does not prevent me from enjoying your skillful writing or appreciating your differing point of view. However, putting one's opinions out into the light of day and opening them up for critique is just not everyone's style.

Gloriann, you are a lone voice on a lot of chit chat sites. You have some strong opinions and I think you should write an article, especially since we are now a year into this administration. Put it together, give a prediction, make a statement that sums it up. Im having trouble following your monologue.

Sarah Palin didn't confirm that she would be at the Library...it was rumored that she would be there since so many of her supporters were hoping that she would be. I don't know, but alot of people here on this site, were pushing for Hillary to be prez...did you see her on the news when she had a melt down and chastised that African student? I guess she set him straight by saying SHE is the secratary of state...NOT her husband and that SHE would tell [the African student] what she thinks about [China] and that she was NOT there to channel (?) her husband's thoughts through her. Oh my....well, the biased liberal media excused her embarrassing response by saying she had jet lag......you think they would give Sarah the same courtesy..............? nah. They would run the embarrassing remark til the film tape broke and hammer away at her til there weren't any bones left. Oh it must be nice to have 'get out of jail free' cards. Wonder where the democRats get those????

Believe me, the world won't ignore her...they will be camped out at the Reagan Library in August for her speech. Funny how they discount her and yet flock like seagulls to watch her speak and film her for the news. Hatie Couric won't ever get another interview with her. Remember Connie Chung and the end of her career when she stepped outside the status quo of professional journalism. Well, Hatie Couric...maybe you and Connie could have lunch while other journalists get the scoop.

Because you can't ignore a genius.

Yes, Sarah is a quitter, in that, she 'quit' letting the opponents complain with ethics violations that are unfounded.

Stay tuned.

and if you weren't so worried about her popularity...why all the attention. Why don't you just ignore her?

I find it interesting that the same people who DEFAME Sarah to "get her out of their way"...are the same people who would MAIM a baby to "get it out of their way".

.......if you are intolerant, eliminate it. Isn't that the DemocRAT way?
