In my search for bi-partisan data on this presidential election, I came across this great political dashboard created by Yahoo! It provides a minute-by-minute account of the polls and alternative indices tracking the election. It was neat to see a comparison of this year’s electoral votes to that of elections past—it’s incredible how much the South has changed. Even as a political novice, it became clear to me where the candidates were focusing their energy and how those choices could make or break the turnout for them.
