Carbon Offsetting 101

The average American omits over 23 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every single year. Since most of us aren’t ready to give up our cars or live off the grid, carbon offsetting is quickly becoming a viable step to taking responsibility for our egological footprint.

Watch this episode, featuring Eric Carlson Executive Director of CarbonFund.org, for an in-depth look at how carbon offsetting works, and why it may be the best thing you do this year for the planet.

Only one thing I would like to say about this, the first thing I believe we should be concentrated on is getting ourselves back together, before we start to even begin to think about funding a move like this. We have way larger priorities then that. We need to focus on fixing our 'present', the one God gave gave us, today, and this other stuff, I am all for being a healthy planet, but these issues are way beyond our limits right now. Especially time limits.
It feels good to write.
