How Does One Celebrate President’s Day?

How does one go about celebrating President’s Day?

Traditionally, this holiday celebrates two great President’s, Abe Lincoln and George Washington.

You could:
1. Learn to dance the Virginia Reel.

2.Go to the theater and watch a movie (balcony prohibited!)

3.Bake a cherry pie! George Washington may have never actually chopped down a cherry tree, but it’s fun anyway! If you aren’t in the mood for baking, buy a frozen pound cake, drizzle it in cherry pie filling, and whipped cream! Happy Birthday George!

4.Visit a Civil War battlefield. If there isn’t one near you, do a virtual tour.

5.Polish pennies. Hoard pennies. Cash in pennies. Make penny rubbings, if your VERY bored. Pay for everything, EVERYTHING, ALL day Monday, with PENNIES!Yeah!

6. Watch, “All the President’s Men.” Sure, it has nothing to do with Lincoln or Washington, but it is a great movie anyway!

Whatever you do, have a wonderful Monday!
