Trip to Malaga, Spain

Long time ago, at my bicycle store, I fix a flat tire on a customer’s bicycle, when I finished I notice that his brake pads were really in a bad shape, I replaced them free of charge.

Next day the customer came back with his mother, both of them very excited, he told me: you save my life! I replied: why?

Well yesterday I was cycling to work and a Taxi Cab just got in my path, I said oh my God I do not have brakes, but anyways I pressed the brake handle and the bicycle stop, then I realized that you have fixed my brakes, that why I am here to thank you. His mother told me the same, I noticed that she had an accent, I ask her where are you from?, she replied Malaga, Spain, I said tom her: what a coincidence my grandmother was from Malaga ad she lived at Barrio El Perche, more emotional she got, it is a very big coincidence because I also lived in the same place (she replied).

To make the story short, she invited my wife and I to go to Spain, we spend a beautiful time there.

Some times when you do the right things God reward you.

I love that story. How nice of you to fix someone's brakes and not even say anything about it. Sounds like you saved a life and made some great friends. Here's to random acts of kindness.
It feels good to write.
