What To Do If an Earthquake Hits Your City

First of all, you should not panic. You shouldn’t panic because panic only leads to death.

Second, get under something that is sturdy and hold on to the sturdy object. If you are under a sturdy object, the sturdy object will probably not fall on you. If you hold onto the sturdy object, the changes of you moving away from the sturdy object is less likely to happen.

Third, get out of the building after the shaking is over. You should get out after the shaking is finished because the building that you are in may be on fire, and you will only have two minutes to get out of the building.

Fourth, get as far away from buildings as possible. You want to get as far away from trees, buildings, and power lines because there will always be aftershocks after the main earthquake.

Your life is very important and you mean a lot to your co-workers, your friends, and your family.
