I just wanted to give a thumbs up to the author that pinned “Please Don’t Throw Stones.” I really enjoyed this article, not because I have anything against children, or mothers or family (quite the contrary) but because I can understand this woman’s feeling of ‘not’ desiring children. I think it is wonderfully refreshing to have someone speak honestly and she is brave to express her true self. I think she did ‘give the reason a way’ when she spoke of how she may unconsciously not ‘want’ children because of the abuse she suffered; it’s quite understandable, and my heart goes out to her, and I hope she will find the healing and restoration that is here for her. I hear her saying, that she wishes women, especially ... would just ‘understand’ that it’s okay to not have that maternal drive.

Whether it stems from a troubled past or is just her makeup, only she and God can determine that and for the rest of the onlookers, our job isn’t to judge, it’s to respect and love. Giving others the respect and love they deserve is only way we can move on in a sustained healthy fashion. This is also why I chose my Username to be “got cha”...because “I get ‘you,’” I understand, I can empathize with all kinds of women having gone through so much myself. Take Care.
