HoneyBaked Ham & Turkey

Baked Ham is one of those foods associated with holidays, especially Easter. I have always been a huge fan of the company because their hams are delicious, as are the turkeys. The quality of their food is wonderful, and my guests always rave about the ham. Half a ham feeds a lot of people, and the bone left over at the end can be used to make fabulous split pea soup.

The reason I'm writing this review however is to comment on their customer service. You won't believe how great it is. I emailed them to inquire if their hams are gluten-free (in the "Ask an Expert" section) 10 minutes later I got a reply with a list of ingredients in all their products. A call to a retail store in my area also produced a fast and friendly response. Unfortunately for those who are wheat sensitive, their hams do contain wheat starch, but for anyone else they remain a great holiday standby. I’ve included an ingredient list below for the hams and turkeys. If you want the rest, please add a comment and I can list more product ingredients.

Our Honeybaked Hams are cured with:

Pork, Water, Salt, Sodium Lactate, Sugar, Sodium Phosphates, Sodium Diacetate, Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite

Honey Glazed Spiral Cut Ham is my all-time favorite, especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Hell, who am I kiddin'! I could eat it 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
