The atmosphere at Harvey's is casual but classy. You don't need to dress in a suit, tie, or nice dress. It is a one-of-a-kind place where you leave as a friend. High quality cuts of meat, amazing appetizers, and indulgent desserts make this restaurant well-worth traveling to. Prices are fair when considering the quality (and quantity) of food. Live music or karaoke can he heard in the restaurant (but it's not at all distracting). The bar is reminds me of Cheers, where "everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came".
Their Happy Hour is one of the best with foods such as: Home-made Potato Chips, Asiago Cheese Fries, and Crab Cakes. The Happy Hour (4-7pm) menu has something for everyone (including sandwiches and pizzas!). Beer ranges from $2.00-$3.50.
The service was great. Friendly servers pay attention to your needs, and at the end of the meal bring, out the most amazing dessert tray I've seen in a long time. This of course leads to desserts! Molten Chocolate Cake, Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, Caramel Apple Pie, and several others adorn the tray.
I've been twice (tonight will be the third) and have never been disappointed. Here is what I have ordered:
Appetizer:
Fresh Deep Fried Artichoke Hearts
Entrees: (come with vegetables, choice of side, salad or soup)
Peppercorn Steak
End-Cut Prime Rib (one of my favorites!)
Sides:
Home-made Mac n Cheese
Garlic Mashed Potatoes (my favorite)
Desserts:
Molten Chocolate Cake
Carrot Cake
There is nothing I've had that I didn't like.
