I get the worst hangovers. It’s not fair. I don’t even have to get drunk or act stupid to feel regretful the following morning after a night of drinking. I have more than enough recounts of times I needed to pull off the road, missed special events or hated my life all because I was nauseated to the fullest degree after a night of debauchery. From here on out, anything after 1drink requires that I have a glass of Emergen-C before I go to bed. Something about he Vitamin-C keeps you hydrated at night so you don’t feel so hung-over the next morning. It’s not the ultimate cure, sobriety is, but it does help.

Taking two capsules of activated charcoal capsules (about 200 mg strength) with your first drink will soak up the alcohol, prevent you from getting drunk, and prevent a hangover. If you forget, just take two before bed, although it won't help with the "drunk" part, it still will relieve the hangover symptoms. You can get it at any health food store. It is also excellent if you get food poison or eat something you know is going to give you gas. I'm never without it.

Quit drinking for goodness sake. It is easier in the long run and nobody wants to be remembered as being arse over tea kettle from the effects of booze.

Try taking 2 aspirin and drink at least a bottel of water right before bed and you should be fine when you wake up.

I have heard that alcohol depletes - probably among other things - the B vitamins and that taking them with - again lots of water - afterward is beneficial. I don't know the amount that would be required, but check out what is said on different bottles of B Vits in your local vitamin store and Google B Vits to see what you can find out. Maybe your body is low on them regardless of the alcohol intake. Now that I have told you what I've 'heard' - I'm going to - look into what I've suggested for you to do!! Never hurts to learn something new - or confirm whether or not something you've heard is true or not!! Perhaps Googling the affects of alcohol might also be informative.
