I’m delving into beauty product trials now, beginning with Revlon Fantasy Lengths Self Adhesive Eyelashes.
Now, let me preface this by saying I am not an expert in this area. I’m one of those put-the-make-up-on-in-the-car kinda mamas, so you’re getting a novice opinion at best. I know it’s no big deal—you know by now that I just share my experiences and leave you to form your own opinions. Just thought I’d throw that disclaimer out there so you know what to expect.
Enough about that.
I think this “self adhesive technology” is pretty innovative. I never thought to even try false lashes because I was afraid of dealing with the glue. I assumed they would be cumbersome and not worth the trouble, so I stuck with mascara alone, but these were right up my alley.
The little adhesive strips attach to the eyelid with absolutely no mess. They were not too difficult to get on, and I think any difficulty I had was because it was my first time. They were pretty comfortable and I didn’t have any trouble once they were on. I have to admit that although the adhesive strip was not very thick, it wasn’t very easy for me to camouflage it.
I also tried a set of glue on lashes and, while I hated fiddling around with the glue, I preferred the look of these lashes because they don’t have the tiny black strip. It’s hard to weigh the messiness of the glue-ons against the strip of the self-adhesives, and I really have not settled on a preference yet.
Maybe you can help me decide—just pop over to The MamaZone and you could win two sets of lashes for giving me your opinion by December 19th.
And as for my rating, I’ve given them 4 mamas!
Did I love it? Mostly, I just didn’t like having to hide the strip
Is it useful/practical? Absolutely.
Did it work as promised? Yep!
Was it a great price? I think so—I recently saw them priced at $6.59
Is it unique and creative? Yes, and versatile—they come in a few different styles
I can’t wait to hear what you think!
