What Is Your Biggest Phobia?

When Snakes on a Plane was released in 2006, many thought their scariest nightmares had come true. Snakes were bad enough, but on a plane? If they had thrown spiders in there, we might have seen a nationwide panic. Whether it’s heights, tight spaces, needles, public speaking, or clowns, our phobias can take a frightening grip on us, often freaking out even the most rational among us. What is your biggest phobia?

Driving over bridges or near deep water, which really stinks when you live in Florida. Water, water everywhere! Love the beauty of it, the majesty, the power. Hates the thought of it over my head.

Slugs. they freak me out sumtin serious, I used to not be able to walk pass. I hate movies with anything that looks like a slug. I saw "Attack of the Killer Slugs" as a child and it really traumatized me.

Spiders are fine, snakes are indifferent, what I have reoccurring dreams about (for a few years) is water- lakes, oceans, creeks, any body of water, though water parks are a repeated dream too. I hate water dreams, where there are creatures in the water, I have to save someone, or there's a storm. In real life I'm not too bothered with it, I can swim fairly well but in my dreams I'm terrified. And my fear apparently caught up with my waking life at the aquarium, because I walked into the tunnel that goes under the shark tank and got dizzy and sick.
Also, I hate big crowds, there's so much noise and confusion.
Beards. I don't care what anyone says. I can't trust anyone with a beard.

Spiders--the big hairy tarantula kind that are big enough to fight my dog.

Drowning! Which is really stupid since my favorite thing to do (next to buying purses) is taking cruises. Plus I live in Florida (surrounded by water, hello?). But driving takes a close second. With all the water around here, I more than a little nervovus going over or around all the lakes, ponds and little rivers in the Sunshine State.

Being middle of a huge crowd or being in a very closed area or space. The feeling that you can't get really puts me in huge panic mode.

Oh I am scared of spiders, but I can kill them right? No, my fear is of snakes-- I cannot watch them on TV, I cannot be near them in a zoo, I wont look at pictures of them, and I lived in the Mojave Desert for a total of 10 years! I only saw one from a distance-- a sidewinder, cooling under a doorway to a building I was delivering to. Ughhhh! No, but my real fear is FIRE! I have an irrational fear of fire; I wont light matches or lighters, I have a problem with gas barbeques, and lighting a gas stove, forget it-- I will starve first! I asked my mother why and she has NO idea why I have that irrational fear. I like campfires, if they are already lit when I get there. LOL I also HATE,, HATE thunderstorms! I am afraid of being in a tornado! I lived in CA all of my life (except for 10 mos in Omaha, NE and I kept an eagle eye on the weather channel there! Not afraid of earthquakes; not really!

Ok you are going to laugh...I cannot drive behind anything that has poles, boards, sticks, or any other object that I can envision coming at me and thru the windshield and then into my body. I have no reason for this and yes---I change lanes to avoid vehicles like those. Snakes are also a big heebygeeby thing for me. BUT my most irrational fear is that someone won't like me...I mean...how can anyone NOT like me? I am such a fabulously funny person, but then of course you agree....right? Please say you agree. Of course you agree. You do right? See it really is irrational.
