Don’t Stop Believing: What’s Your Dream?

I wanted to be either a nun, or a bank robber. I wnated to be a nun, because back then, the nuns wore ceautiful long, flowing black 'gowns', so I thought it would be like eternal dress-up! I wanted to be a bank robber because my mom took us to see Kat Ballou at the drive-in. She was so self-confident, bold and brave! We weren't Catholic, so the nun option was off the table. My brother beat me to the bank robber job and it got him killed. I think I'll stick to my present path, and my work with children and parents in the mental health field... Maybe my work will lead to one less dead bank robber!

Growing up, I always wanted to be someone famous, like a bestselling author or performer of some kind. I wish I had been smarter about some of the choices I made in the past, but ultimately the twists & turns of life brought me to my husband, the love of my life, so maybe I am where I was meant to be. Dreams & goals in life are always attainable no matter what age we are, so maybe I'm still on my journey & each day is one step closer to my dreams & aspirations in life.

My dream when growing up was to be a schoolteacher. I love children. I always wanted to teach the Kindergarden-2nd grade. I remember my school days, and I was so fond of my schoolteachers. Then I became the teachers pet.

I've always dreamt of having a loving, caring husband, a baby boy and a baby girl but right now i only have a boyfiriend of 3 years whom i just wish would propose, well i admit our relationship has never been an easy one though i love him and i know he loves me too.I mean even right now its very difficult its more of the downs than the ups,just when i think we have gone past the problem we had something must come up but im still happy.The dream i have right now is to see myself infront of the altor with him.

My childhood dreams were of being a Lawyer or a pilot; today I'm neither of them, but along the way I've grown to realize that I can have and chase many dreams but the most important part is to begin LIVING THE DREAM! I'm studying Law and love to fly, but not in a pilot's seat :) I want to help young people to understand who they are and the power and importance of having dreams and believing in God to help them live those dreams, not only for themselves, but for a greater good in live. I so desperately want to mentor the youths and one day I will on a larger scale than I do at present.

I want to make a difference. I just returned from a Spa Retreat weekend and we talked alot about dreams and following them. I want to make a difference. If it is just by doing my spas and helping another tired mom take that 5 minutes of 'me time' and refreshing her soul then I have accomplished what I want to do. It's about the dash!! It's about connecting from my heart with the people around me and showing them that I care and want to show them that I love them, appreciate them and care about how their life is going. I dream of making a difference.

After losing my job, I decided to become an actress. It has always been my dream and now I'm finally doing it. I'm not making a lot of money but for once I'm doing what I want to do, and having a blast doing it.

hello,as far as my actual dreams as a child,I don't really remember too many,the ones that I do they'r really strange & weird ! My dreams now a days are mostly based on a tradgidey that happened a little more then a year ago.My feiancee & I was in a horrible house fire,my sweety did'nt make it out-it changed my whole life drasticly ! Since then I've had a few dreams,kind of weird ones that i don't understand.Could they possibly mean my loved one is visiting me in the subconcious state ? They've been about him,but in places I don't know & people I don't know,and always I can't reach him,or he disapears,and I wake-up.I've been wanting to find a person,or information on dreams & what thay mean. Thank-you for reading, & forgive me for not writting something warm, wonderful & nice,these are my dreams of late and maybe,hopefully soon,I'll be able to sort things out, & write back in this chit chat & tell about my dream goals,plans & beginings.THANKS again !

My dream would be to give my husband a son. Also to assist young children in need and ensuring that they have a proper education.
