Sister to Sister

Ladies who are we kidding, we are our biggest critics. We are so quick to judge each other, when we need to support each other as strong intelligent beautiful women!

It’s ok to admire and give compliments. Where did we go wrong, Why is it so hard to stop a female in the mall, just to say, “I love your shoes!”

Why are we so envious and jealous of one another? I guess I could go on and on with a million questions.

A lot of these problems go back to low self esteem, and insecurity issues. I’m not going to lie, I had self-esteem issues growing up, that developed from grade school and wanting to fit in with the “in crowd”—the popular girls!

I guess it’s the same as looking at a super model in a magazine wondering why God made her so perfect. None the less, those perfect women more than likely had the same self esteem issues under more pressure.

There’s nothing wrong with looking at pictures of women and wanting to be them, but start with looking in the mirror first.
Make sure your ok, with the reflection and your own personal flaws!
Then we can move on and be comfortable with embracing each other as women.

Do this today:
Start with someone you know, like your mother, sister, or best friend, call them up right now, tell them they are beautiful!
