Everyday Miracles

Nature is the only place where Miracles not only happen but they happen all the time. –Thomas Wolfe

I love this quote because it reminds me of the everyday miracles of Nature. Take a moment to think of an apple tree. How does it know when the right time is to start budding, then to be ablaze with pink flowers, and finally bear fruit? Each stage is a miracle that naturally happens in an easy sequence, one happening after another.

The apple tree is not subjected to our constant worry and mind chatter. “Gee, is this the right time to bud?” “What if it doesn’t happen?” “What if I start to blossom and a storm blows by my way?” Doesn’t it seem ridiculous to think of the tree endlessly worrying and having a mind-stream of chatter like we do?

The tree completely rests in Being, trusting the process, and knowing that all is well. How can this miracle of Nature help you with any change or transition that you are facing in your own life right now? I’d love to hear from you.
