what you need
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced and tossed in lemon juice to prevent browning*
- 1 banana, mashed really well
- 2 boxes (5.1 oz. each) JELL-O Regular or Sugar Free Vanilla Instant Pudding
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 cups half-and-half
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons spiced rum or rum extract (optional)
- 2 tubs (8 oz. each) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
- 1 package hard ladyfingers (the kind used to make regular tiramisu)
- 1 package (8 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Squares (you'll need 1/2 cup shaved semi-sweet chocolate)

TO MAKE FILLING:
1. Mix puddings and milk in bowl until well blended. Let sit 10 minutes.
2. After 10 minutes, Add the mashed banana, rum (if using), and the 2 tubs of Cool Whip and stir until you see no more whipped topping and it's all mixed in. Now you have 3 cups of mousse filling.
TO MAKE THE LAYERS:
Mix the half-and-half with vanilla extract in a shallow dish to dip your ladyfingers.
Quickly dip in the half-and-half/vanilla mixture each side of each ladyfinger (like you do in regular tiramisu). Place ladyfingers in bottom of 11x7x1.5 in. pan, top with 1 cup of mousse filling and spread over ladyfingers, top with 1 of the sliced bananas, then sprinkle with some of the shaved chocolate. Repeat this step 2 more times. You will get 3 layers total.
CHILLING:
Cover dish with plastic wrap and chill in fridge for 3 to 4 hrs. or overnight or until the lady fingers are nice and soft. (best if made overnight.) Serve it up! YUMMY!

You can leave the rum out if you don't want it or you’re serving children.
If you want to you could use 3 packages (9 oz. each) of regular or sugar free banana cream pudding (instead of the vanilla pudding) mixed with the 1 banana that you mash, 1 1/2 cups of milk, whipped topping, and rum (if using).
