1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup of Carnation Milk
1 stick of butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 sixteen ounce box of powdered sugar
Combine the first three ingredients and bring to a boil, take off stove, and let cool. Mix in vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat until thick enough to pour on a cake. It should be stiff but still liquid enough to pour from the pan onto the cake. Use a spatula to spread it on cake. Initially it will run off the sides of cake, but it will harden in a few minutes.
This is especially tasty on fudge cake, apple cake, or spice cake.
