washing it everyday

Weekly deep conditioning and try to use as little heat treatments as possible. When I do I try to use a heat protect spray.
I NEVER use shampoo on the ends, just conditioner. Keeps it from being limp and breaking easily.

I keep my hair "Locks" looking lovely by first of all not washing it everyday like I used to when I was younger. I also find that using a deep conditioner once a week that you leave on your hair for 20 minutes also keeps my hair in very fine condition. I have very long layered color treated & highlighted hair. I would like to think that it is one of my best features. So keeping it looking amazing is important to me. I have learned that you don't need to spend a lot of $$$ to have gorgeous hair, you just need to take time to take care of it. That is what I do. I tend to it, like a garden, making sure to keep it trimmed, hydrated & nourished!
