Hello, DCS, and welcome back to DivineCaroline. Thank you for taking the time to chat with us today. Would you briefly introduce yourself?
A: Thanks for having me back! I’m the author of two titles, Synarchy Book 1: The Awakening and Synarchy Book 2: The Ascension. I’m also a radio show host; I have a show that airs every Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. CST on the Paranormal Soup Network called In The Mind of DCS. I also run a text based role-play game based off the novels that allows players to interact with the characters from the book. It all keeps me very busy!
Tell me a little about your pen name and why you chose it.
A: That’s a secret. The last two letters are my initials, but I can’t share what the D is for. Fans will just have to speculate.
You’re currently on virtual book tour with The Ascension, book two of the Synarchy books. Please tell us about book two and how it fits into the overall series.
A: Book two picks up right where I leave everyone hanging in book one. I delve deeper into the story behind the Terenzios, and what has motivated one half of the family to work with the books villains the Brotherhood. I also delve a lot deeper into the science fiction aspect of the book. You see a lot of the Anunnaki and the Archangels play a big role. The pace doesn’t slow, and Book 2 is really the climax of the story, the big throw down where readers will find out what happens to the Terenzios. It doesn’t end the way you think it might, I will say that.
Next comes the obvious question: Where did you get your inspiration? What first pushed you to that point of “I have to write a book about this”?
A: When I sat down to write book one, it was a combination of my urge to finally take myself seriously as a writer and tell a story, and part of a very personal spiritual journey for me. I wanted to include elements of both, there was information I wanted to share with my readers, but in a means where it was comfortable to entertain such concepts. It’s my goal with all my novels to leave my readers highly entertained and a little bit more informed about certain subjects.
Looking at your website—www.themindofdcs.com—you aren’t shy about getting into all matter of subjects. Would you mind telling us about the topics you like talking about on your website and why you’re passionate about them?
A: That’s a loaded question! I love tackling controversial topics that’s for certain. But really my goal is practical spirituality, and self sustainability. We are living in amazing times where I believe we as a global society are finally really seeing the mess we’ve made of things, but it’s important not to panic. We can fix this, and that’s the deeper message. I want to make people aware of their own power to help everyone co-create something better without waiting for our political party or religious leaders.
What is one question you aren’t asked that you wish people would ask?
A: You know I really am asked all kinds of questions because the work is so diverse. So far, I’ve been pretty pleased with the variety of interview questions.
What’s next for you?
A: More Books! I’ve got six planned for the series, maybe seven because there is a concept I introduced in book two regarding the history of the Angels and the Anunnaki and I think that would be a great story to tell.
Where can people find out more about you and your books?
