Great Curves and Supple Leather

Virginia and Carla are totally different, but they share a lot of the same qualities: Chic, smart and expertly put together. They’ve both got great curves, too—the kind of curves that give shape to these gorgeous leather accessories.

Virginia is a zippered jewelry case with enough storage for several rings and at least five pairs of earrings. It includes two leather-lidded compartments, a mirror, and a pouch for necklaces stitched into the lid. Carla is a compact manicure set with an array of tools tucked inside the snap-shut round case.

Virginia and Carla’s clean, modern lines and superb leather craftsmanship are hallmarks of their maker, Rowallan. The company’s roots can be traced to Kilmaurs, Scotland, not far from the 19th century castle that inspired its name. One of the original founders, Jan Pattison, is a graduate of the famed Glasgow School of Art, and you can see how Rowallan has been influenced by the region’s leather-crafting heritage and world renowned reputation for modern design. Current owner Kathleen McHugh is building off the European tradition and infusing Rowallan’s newest leather goods with a fresh, colorful vibe—which makes Virginia and Carla even harder to resist.

Next time you’re headed out of town or off to the gym, Virginia and Carla are the perfect travel companions (they make great gifts, too).
