Domestic Violence

I am not a victim of domestic violence but I just buried a twenty-seven year old friend this past Saturday and a co worker friend at the beginning of 2007. Now I am mad!!! I want to do something about this in the state of North Carolina. I am not sure what to do but there must be some laws passed in this state to stop this from happening to other young women. All of her friends have listened to the stories that she told us and we all tried in vain to steer her in the other direction away from him. We almost succeeded.
