There is so much I admire about you two,

And the way you’ve grown over the years.

You’ve offered up gentleness and patience,

And shared many hopes, dreams, and fears.

This marks a new era in your lives now united

In which you trust each other’s souls are true.

You’re proclaiming your passionate commitment,

And your friends are rejoicing with and for you.

Marriage will be a glorious and intimate adventure

Sure to leave you smiling and praying on your knees.

At times it may take you up the face of mountains,

And at other times, shower you with beauty and ease.

May you continue to feel the spicy romance,

And promise to keep it always alive.

Forgive each other as the Lord forgives you,

Because compassion is necessary to survive.
