Hi, I am Margie (Starshine ). Today I found out what kindness is all about. We are kind of having a hard time making ends meet. My brother, who is home from YellowKnife, went out and bought me nearly $500 in groceries. I wanted to do something special for him, so I wrote this poem. Charlie, this one is for you.
Sometimes someone comes along to help you from the heart, and Charlie you were that person and it melted my heart.
I had tears in my eyes when I seen what you had done for me, not expecting anything in return, and didn’t charge me a fee.
You have been so good to Danny and I don’t know what to say.
You left me speechless and I didn’t know to say.
I can’t thank you enough for what you have done.
It just goes to show, some people still bring out the sun.
Charlie I pray for you, and may God take care of you.
I wouldn’t want to lose a brother with a heart that is so true.
What you did today meant so much to me;
And your kindness is there for all the world to see.
Charlie, if you are trying to get to heaven, don’t you know.
What really matters, is the love you have shown.
Charlie, thanks from the bottom of our hearts.
