But every time I’m feeling that way, I'm also finding myself confronting the fear of it actually happening. It’s funny… it reminds me of being a teenager all over again. The very thought of you would do something to me. And I’m not talking about with the help of any that Viagra stuff that people talk about,” he amusingly laughs as he sits in the chair.
“So why haven’t we made love yet?” she nervously asked.
“Because. It played out a lot easier in my mind. Things are a lot simpler your dreams. Well, at least mine.” He solemnly replied as he took a sip.
“I want to…” she subtly injected, peering over into his eyes.
“I want to also,” he replied, as he reached over and gently drew back a fallen lock of hair away from her eyes. “Let’s just say, I want to savor every moment leading up to the act itself. Besides, who wouldn’t enjoy watching the woman they love taking a bath amidst the glow of burning candles.”
“What is really going on inside that head of yours?” she turned and asked, with an engaging look in her eyes.
Caught totally off guard, he suddenly noticed a change in her mood. Slowly shifting his eyes down unto the floor, he somberly answered. “During those times when you would bathe before coming to bed, I used to wonder what thoughts were running through your mind as you lied there in silence with your eyes closed. My mind used to race back and forth as I would be thinking to myself, ‘she should be clean by now…something must be going on. Or she is in there thinking about someone else or some wrong she has done.’ I really didn’t know what to think. And now that I’m looking back on it all, it seems kind of strange that I would have thought anything of it. Except now that I’ve mentioned it, I would really like to know what you were thinking.”
