My Parent's Reconciliation Vacation (excerpt from Proverbial Woman), Part XVI

After finishing the first one, he then slowly started on her other leg as he began rubbing areas where he felt the most resistance. Still affected by her unexpected comment, contemplatively approaching the task, he proceeded to apply moisturizer above and a round her ankle. Tenderly massaging in as he applied pressure, after several minutes he moved down to the area around her toes. Jumping as if startled, she feverishly swayed under the soothing feeling of his attentive hands.

Sometimes love requires us to laboriously toil over circumstances of our hearts. I never once doubted the patience of his love when it came to her. But even as a young girl I knew there were moments when things weren’t as they seemed. I could always sense friction between the two of them, no matter how hard they tried to disguise it.

Though now becoming more aware of who I am and the sensual side of my emotions, I too find it rather difficult at times to control the flow of my words. At times it is very difficult. I probably could catch myself before I start. Personally, I think it takes a strong man to deal with it… perhaps someone like my father.

Fifteen minutes had passed before he started wrapping things up. He had worked his way up along her thighs before stopping short of the point of intimacy. Though she preferred he kept going, he decided to stop before things had gotten to a degree of no return.
“Okay my beautiful Rose,” he sighed as he reached into his pocket, “Before you pick up where I left off, let me give you something first.”

“What?” she asked, nervously.

“I’m sure I’ve mentioned it on several occasions,” he says as he began to pull the object from his pocket, “And I know what you’re thinking, and you’re probably saying, ‘what now?’”

With an amused look in her eyes, she subtly replied, “Yes I am.”

“Well. When we first met I told you I wanted to take care of you for the rest of your life. And that meant keeping you protected in every possible way. And that includes safe and warm inside of my arms, by being your umbrella on rainy days.

I believe if we go through life trials together, our hearts will grow stronger, together. These things that are happening can help make our marriage stronger. That is if we choose to hold on. Rose, I’ve found myself inside of you. I found the real Timothy Romero somewhere inside of what we had become together, and the two wonderful daughters we produced.

Well…anyway.
