The Waterslide

Maybe there were a few spirals or really steep shots that made it hell for a moment, but I can bet with those rough spots you got several good things out of that slide, too. The waterslide of life, for Grandma, this just means she finished her ride and from what I know and have been told, her ride was worth it.

Grandma, I love you and I miss you. I’m sorry I wasn’t there to visit you when your health was deteriorating. Dad said not to beat myself up over this and I’m trying not to, but this is a prime example of taking things for granted and not making time for the things that matter in life. I’ll keep that in mind next time my friends invite me and I have to think about whether I should continue organizing my photo albums or have a girls night. Thank you also for making Daddy. Gobble a shoe.
