What Makes A Man Run After Date One?

Considering that I first became friends with my guy over shared discussions about therapy, love, break-ups, divorce and astrology... AND he happens to be one of the most masculine fellas I know, I think he'd be the first to cry foul here! I agree with Jeremiah on the idea of asking: what makes a man ask for a second date? I'm guessing it's the same stuff that makes a woman do the same... confidence, kindness and consideration, a genuine and expressed interest in getting to know your date and shared interests just to name a few.

Men are very different in character, needs and desires. What may make one man run after the first few dates, may be viewed as a challenge by others. Perhaps a better question would, be what makes a man stay after the first date? Any intelligent man knows that women are different, with many different experiences. Many good women have been hurt and betrayed by dishonest men, who have no honor. I am speaking as a man! Women who have been deeply hurt, will require a great deal of patience, kindness and maturity. However there are behavior patterns, which will drive all but the most desperate men away on the first dates. Anger and negativity will drive a good man away faster than anything I can thing of. This is easily seen on the first few dates. A woman who complains about the dinner, traffic, weather etc is a red flag for me! It can make a woman of even stunning beauty, very unattractive. It is a real turn-off. No one wants to be around a negative, complaining person.

Speaking for the ladies out there, I'd like to add that I run from Men who are talking about the same things in the "He's Running" list above. And I'm listening if we share some common interests and philosophies. I'll keep listening if he makes me laugh.
