Read a Man in Three Easy Steps

By: Truth in Hand (View Profile)

Most women notice a lover’s eyes; a lot of women notice their mouth. A great many women will confess to admiring parts of the anatomy that contribute to a nice overall picture. But did you know that you could read a man in three easy steps just by looking at his hands?

The lines in your hand reflect all the thoughts in your mind. Those thoughts contract muscles and the muscles help create those lines. The good news is, the lines change with a changing mind—even though it takes up to six months to change a pattern.

But those lines can tell you volumes if you know how to look.

First, the more lines the busier the mind. Volume of lines can tell how active that brain is and how often or how broadly it kicks in. Now it is up to you to discover how well he is putting that busy mind to use. But Step One is to see how many lines, how much mind. Empty hands don’t mean an empty head, but it certainly indicates a man with a quiet mind. He may channel those thoughts down one or two preferred tracks rather than thinking everything through. But it can tell you the volume of thoughts in a mind.

Second, the lighter the line, the less emphasis the thought has in the mind and on the hand. Dark or light, deep or shallow will tell you much. Is it just randomly strolling through or does he dwell on that thought, really rolling it over in his mind before moving on to the next? If he really gives it time and attention the line will be deeper and clearer with fewer frayed ends or chains on the line. The more interruption in the line, the less he is able to focus on a single subject. If a thought rolls through somewhat often but without much impact, the line will be lighter and thinner on a hand. Step two is to see how deep the lines are or how light and scattered.

And finally, how curved or straight are the lines in his hand? The more curve in a line, the farther the thoughts travel and the more creative the mental approach. The straighter the line the more the mind follows a familiar path when processing information. Sharp curves from a straight line starting point are a build up of pressure in the thought until it has to break free.  Gradual curves are ones that move more comfortably from familiar to new paths. Stick straight lines favor a structured approach. So Step Three is to identify the balance of straight and curved lines in a hand.

Take a look at your own hands; see what you can learn for practice. Are there more lines or less? Do your lines overall look deeper or lighter? Do you recognize your creativity or your practicality in the curve of your own lines? See what you think! Then the next time you meet someone new, use this snapshot of their mind to give you a map to steer by as you get to know them. It is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
