Quiz - Does Your Man Have Cold Feet?

Mostly As—Ahhh … this is good news. Marriage doesn’t scare him. That’s right, sounds like you got yourself the marrying type. If you’re taking this quiz, you’re probably wondering why he hasn’t popped the question just yet. Hang in there! Sounds like he’s moving at a slightly different pace than you, but he’ll probably catch up quickly. Remember, women tend to be ready for that walk down the aisle sooner than guys are. Since you’re both on the same page as to where this relationship stands, who says you have to take the passenger seat? If waiting for him to get down on one knee is getting the best of you—would you consider popping the question yourself? Or how about deciding together as a couple when to get engaged? If you prefer traditional and want him to propose then give it a little more time. If you start to sense that he’s dragging it out, check in with him. Find out if you both have the same timeframe in mind.

Lots of Bs—This guy needs some socks to warm his feet. You need to cut to the chase with him. And you need information. Find out how he really feels about marriage. And consider how he handles other life commitments. There’s probably some work you’ll have to do as a couple. He needs to figure out why he runs when he hears the “M” word. You’ll want to know if it’s marriage itself that scares him or if he has concerns about your relationship that you two haven’t addressed. Let the talks begin sooner rather than later. There’s no telling how long a guy with cold feet can drag out the limbo.

Mostly Cs—how about telling him, “C-ya.” If you want to tie the knot and he doesn’t—well that sounds like “resentment ever after.” Think about the advice you’d give your best friend if she was dating this guy. Not only is marriage the last thing on his mind—it’s not on his mind at all. This doesn’t make him a bad guy, it’s that you want different things. But you just might consider getting out the broom and sweeping him to the curb--especially if he forgot your birthday.
