That’s the thing about chemistry: when you mix too many of the same variables, the experiment can sometimes go terribly wrong; and, when you prioritize pulchtritude, as I often do in my style columns (but not in my personal life, thank you very much), Cupid can be as quick to stab you in the back as he is to shoot you in the heart. One can only hope my date (Ricky, are you out there?), is a little less armed and dangerous.
