She found someone else—her officemate. They got together and did things that people in a normal relationship would do even if we were still together. We then broke up. But she promised me that she will be back and that she wanted to be with me for the rest of her life. She said that she just wanted some time off.
The sad part is, they are still together. And here I am. Waiting for her to come back home. How about my own happiness? Should I restrain myself from seeing others? She said it’s alright to see other people but then she left a promise to me that she’ll be back. That literally confused my mind.
Until this time, I am still confused and a lot of questions are running around my head in circles. Is she ever coming back? Will I ever be happy again? How could she waste seven years of a good relationship? These are the unanswered questions that lurked like a stalker at the back of my head. Hopefully, time can heal our differences and to be honest, I am still hoping for her to come back to me even if I only have a slim chance.
