Proverbial Woman, Chapter 1, Part 3

By: Grey Sparrow (View Profile)

“How can you tell? I still have on my robe,” I replied.

“Not in my mind,” he answered, as he handed over my drink.

“You’re too good for my ego.”

“I may be. But do you think your ego good for you, if you don’t mind me saying.” he added. “Now come…have a seat, and place your foot here in my lap.”

He motioned toward the center of the sofa, before glancing down at the area between his legs, as he descended unto the coffee table.

Peering at where I thought he implied, I nervously took a soothing swallow of my drink, as I briefly weighed his subtle, but challenging request. After an unexpected moment of a one-sided contemplative debating, in an uncharacteristic move I gracefully obliged his request, as I slowly guided myself in.

Without hesitation he swiftly reached down and wrapped his hand around my ankle and shoved my foot right on top of what I could only describe as a bulge. Surprised beyond disbelief. Before I realized it, I had released a pleasurable sigh that I’m sure could have been heard in the next room.

Totally taken aback by my lack of restraint, embarrassingly I looked over at him. And much to my surprise…and now crippled ego, he continued working without ever saying a word. After a few moments of recovery, I became a little more daring.

“What did you mean when you said, ‘my ego is not good for me’?”

“You are a very beautiful woman,” he replied, picking up my insecurity. “I’m seeing a side of you that I’m sure is not read by most men. You of all people don’t need an ego to define who you are. And besides, now days they are calling it confidence. Personally I think it is just a fabricated form of self-esteem. Some think they have it when they’re actually full of something else.”

“Keep going. I’m listening.” I politely interrupted, as he continued.

“It’s good to have confidence. But too much of it will blind you from what really matters when it comes to interpreting the intentions of others. I’ve watched many people deceive themselves by believing to have confidence. Many have lead themselves down destructive roads similar to regretted affairs.”

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“There is control. And then there are illusions of having it. Those who walk this path believe they are in touch with reality.

Wow. So wait, he's seductively massaging you while you're sitting on the couch, wearing nothing but a robe? How on earth did you contain yourself, woman?!
