What Do You Say To an Ex When the Love Is Gone and There Are No Words Left?

By: Barbara Kasey Smith (View Profile)

We’ve severed our union and we will get on with our lives, and if children are involved, we will remain friends and have outings together with our children to assure them we love them as much as we did when we lived under one roof. This gives children a feeling of security when they see their parents can get along after a divorce.

Yes, it is also hard to watch a person walk away after you’ve spent a time with them, but it is better to go your separate ways if you can’t get along. Once you fall out of love, it rarely ever can come back, and trying to make it last doesn’t ever work out, it only adds wood to the fire.
