Suicide is never the answer, if you’re feeling alive.
There is no right or wrong in the mind of the person who is grappling with his or her own life issues, which seems overpowering, infinite, and a personal destiny. In turn, those feelings and ominous perceptions of his or her personal fate obscures the ability to make anything clear to any human being who isn’t “paying attention” to that alleged loved and adored person.
If the suicidal person commits the act successfully, isn’t it possible he or she didn’t want to get caught in the act? The act of suicide may have been a perceived gift—you know?
Perhaps to quietly exit the world, knowing that the ones left living are strong enough to endure.
Maybe it’s the living that can be the most naive about interpreting the suicide.
It would be nice if all those who successfully conduct their exit strategy before God’s own will would be forced to come back for a few question and answer sessions before passing through the pearly gates.
(Kind of like earning an admission ticket from Peter in order to get into God’s house.)
