As I make my way into the third trimester carting a bulging belly not many can ignore, we’re asked frequently if we’re still going to adopt? The truth is we haven’t yet made any final decisions. We’ve heard nothing from the adoption agency, except by way of the latest invoice, and the wait continues to slowly increase. My husband is confident two will be plenty, but I hold a little spot of hope in my heart I might be able to convince him otherwise. Whether we end up with one or three, at the risk of sounding oxymoronic, I am resolute in remaining flexible.
