The bottom line is that my kids are healthy. They are both bright and thriving; so the peanut butter, yogurt, cheese, and fruit they seem to survive on must be enough! Sometimes I think we need to buy stock in peanut butter, we go through it so fast!
While it’s fun to speak humorously of my children’s (strange) tastes in food, it is also incredibly challenging. While I make light of it, it seems to me it’s much healthier NOT to take any of this too, too seriously. After all, like most things in childhood, I know, “this too shall pass.” I’m conscious about it, always trying to include new foods and experiences for the kids. Thinking about the health angle for them.
The meatloaf? It really was quite delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Kenny took the rest for lunch. Three times.
