Is it ever okay to leave your baby asleep in the car while you pop out for a second? It’s tempting—especially if your baby wakes up when you pull her out and doesn’t nap again easily. I know of moms who leave their babies asleep in the car while they pop into the post office and since they lock the doors, park in eyeshot and in the shade, think it’s okay. Is this too risky to ever do?

Way too risky. Just thinking about it stresses me out. I will leave my son in the car behind my house while I haul in groceries sometimes, but frankly even that gives me a bit of anxiety!!
