The number thirty bus has provided many teaching opportunities for Megan, from teenage pregnancy, to punctuality, and now poverty and homelessness. Lots of people gave me grief about letting her ride the bus to school alone; I’m convinced that the bus is making our little girl a socially conscious young woman!
