Starting Over

By: Catalina Cordew (View Profile)

Boy was I mixed up. So, I was away from my daughter. So, when she asked me to move to California, I prayed to God to not let it just be for the grandchildren, but to bond with my daughter Nanette. I know I can’t make up for the past. But, it feels good to be there for her. She and I will be bonding day by day. I see a change daily. So, with the help of friends and family and God, I am positive.

And one thing I have learned, we must forgive ourselves. I hope and pray that someone has been blessed by my testimony. We can make choices and I thank God that my daughter has forgiven me.

Sorry to hear about the break-in; I had the same experience happen and it was truly frightening. But it seems like out of bad something good resulted--you get to spend more time with your loved ones.
